    I ordered a gemstone and diamond platinum ring from *******, the store owner. The ring was supposed to be a hand-made, custom ring made by *******. His website, the item listing, his posted shop information, policies, EVERYTHING states that he makes everything himself, with his own recycled metals, INCLUDING PLATINUM, etc., so the customer doesn't have to worry about the ring changing hands with other people, etc., and so that the customer gets his artistic ************************* expertise.A week after I ordered the ring, I checked in with ******* for a status update. He informed me that it was too expensive for him to make the ring himself, and that he was having a company in ******** cast the ring, and then he would set the gems into it.I did not agree to this, approve this, and it was done without my knowledge. I told him to cancel my order, which should have been no problem since the ring had not been made yet, and has not been made as I write this.******* refuses to cancel the order. He says I had five days to cancel the order, and that time has past. Since I was only told that ******* was outsourcing the ring when I contacted him for an update, of course I couldn't cancel within five days, since I didn't know.I paid for a CUSTOM, HANDMADE, IN-HOUSE ring. Not a ring being outsourced to some company in ********, then ******* just sets the stones.If I wanted a ring from the company in ******** I would have ordered it from them.This is false advertising and bait and switch.I have TONS of documentation about this, where ******* says he NEVER outsources work.I want my money back.If ******* insists on shipping the ring to me I will refuse delivery. He can't make false claims online then just say "tough, I lied" to his customers.
