      Air BnB fire this company they cannot do their job correct. Save your money do a ****** search instead of their so called criminal background checks. Are they just going off peoples last name and profiling!

      On 10/8/2022 Inflection provided AirBNB blatantly erroneous information in a supposed background check. The report included criminal records matched only based on name - not including address, dob or ssn. The practice performed by Inflection of improperly merging negative attributes on individuals creates slander, financial hardship and discrimination against customers of vendors using Inflection.

      This is the message I got from Airbnb.I do not have Criminal History They had me banned on Airbnb faulsly Weve recently completed an evaluation of your Airbnb account, which included a consumer report generated using the Inflection ************ API product offered by Inflection Risk Solutions, LLC.That consumer report contained the following information:- Criminal Records Match Due to this finding, we regret to inform you that you will not be able to host or book reservations on Airbnb. If you have any upcoming reservations, theyll be canceled for a full refund and all other parties will be notified about the cancellations. You should receive a separate email with more details.We'll contact you if anything changes in the future.       On September 2, 2022 I received an email from airbnb stating, "Weve recently completed an evaluation of your Airbnb account, which included a consumer report generated using the Inflection ************ API product offered by Inflection Risk Solutions, LLC.That consumer report contained the following information:Criminal Records Match Due to this finding, we regret to inform you that you will not be able to host or book reservations on Airbnb."I am a loyal airbnb customer that spends thousands staying in rentals. My reviews are all perfect. I am Senior manager large corporation and do not appreciate being wrongly accused.The information on the report they sent me is correct, but nothing on there is considered "criminal". I have a speeding ticket, a red light camera ticket and a misdemeanor from a small gathering my 17 year old daughter hosted after homecoming that blew up on social media and resulted in over 100+ kids showing up uninvited to my house. None of these are criminal offenses. They ruined my weekend and it ended up costing me $1200 more to book into a hotel at the last minute. I have contacted airbnb and opened 4 separate tickets. I continue to be passed off to an "ambassador" and am promised a call back within 30 minutes, but no manager ever calls. Each time I receive an email stating the case is closed and decision is final, though no review of the false accusation has been done and my account is still locked out.

      Inflection is contracted to run background checks for Airbnb. Based on their incorrect information about me, Airbnb cancelled my reservation and deactivated my account and deferred all further complaints to Inflection to fix. Someone with the same birthdate as me and a very similar (but not the exact same) name had a felony conviction in ***** in 2016. I live in ******** and it isnt me or my record. It was so disruptive to my family and our travel plans that Im upset that little more than a similar name and birthday could be used to make this mistake. I filed a dispute but may have to wait 30 days for a response.

      last year I was blocked from using Airbnb due to a criminal history I received a full an absolute pardon my record is cleared technically I have never been arrested according to the law. I have tried to reach out by calling multiple numbers there is no customer service representatives they send you to voicemail. I have also sent an email with no response. I would like this cleared and to be able to Use airbnb.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I provided inflection with the document they requested I have not heard back from them after providing it but I did get an email back from Airbnb and my account Has been reactivated.       I have rented from airbnb for years suddenly my reservation gets cancelled from this partner company who does criminal background checks. They are stating I have a criminal history which I do not. Looking at the report they sent with the issue my dog got loose in my yard in 2013 and didn't have a tag. Apparently 10 yrs later this makes me unable to rent a airbnb according to this company. They have no phone number to get in touch with them because its disconnected. I have rented for years without a issue. I have researched today and apparently this company has a class astion suit and a disconnected phone number and still allowed to do shady business.

      I was trying to set up an AirBnB account and was sent an email that my account was permanently locked due to a criminal history. I do not have a criminal history. I have a clear ************ background check.

      After booking my trip through airbnb and buying my airplane tickets I was notified by airbnb that my account is deactivated I was refunded my money due to me having a criminal record. If they would do a correct background check they would realize that the information there are stating is incorrect. This is the 2nd time this happens with airbnb and the company that does their background checks. 2 years ago years ago I had to go through the same process and I was cleared only after my trip was ruined. Now they are tripping over the same rock, I am the same person same customer and they do this to me again. I strongly suggest airbnb hire a new company to do their background checks because for this to happen a second time is unacceptable.

      I signed up as a host on the AirBnB platform and had my account permanently deactivated due to a false criminal report provided to them by this company. I have not been convicted of any criminal activity. This false information has caused distress and embarrassment for myself and my company.
