      On July 11 2024 cashapp gave me a charge back to my Account at ********************** Bank to my card ending in 0970. Sofi been denying and carrying me back and forth since July. My theory is someone who work at Sofi Bank didn't put the money in my account. Cashapp sent 2 transactions on July 11,for $503 s piece totally $1006. Sofi then closed my account in August suspiciously and claim they closed it in October. I have mental illness and since July it has been high I had to make sure I take my meds because my anxiety was very high. I just want my money.

      I tried to deposit a check into my bank account within a few hours my account was placed on restrictions and i was asked to call. I called and they said they had done an investigation and my account would be closed because it was a fraudulent check. I was unaware of this. It was supposed to be payment for a job. I understand them not depositing the money and fully support that. But to close my account when i had no prior knowledge and i called within 2 hours of receiving that email. It doesnt seem like any investigation was done. And when i asked to speak to a manager i was told that there wasnt one i could speak to. That management doesnt take phone calls.

      I called their security team within 2 hours of receiving the email. I was never given a chance to provide any documentation supporting my case  that i was unaware. I have attached the email regarding the job it was supposed to be for as well as a screenshot of the number of the guy that contacted me and sent the check that was supposed to be for the job.

      They closed my account for no reason and this isn’t right because I tried to cash an check my job gave me but due to this horrible app my check and my account has closed and they are ignoring me

      This bank had my account under restrictions ever since early January of this year now that my check went into that account my pension and social security they're not allowing me to draw it out I can't pay my rent I came by no food I can't even pay my bills this been going on for over a month and they refused to take off the restrictions so I can get my money

      Between 12/9/2024 and 12/192024 my credit card with SoFI was charged $2,912.77 across 29 different transactions all at different ****** locations in the midwest and southeast. All of these charges were fraud and clearly the sign of a sophisticated scammer drawing each charge under $100 so activity wouldn't be noticed.

      The timing of this was extremely bad. I was traveling for work the day of the first transaction and in the process of closing on a house and moving that week, resulting in me not noticing the activity until the card was maxed out. I submitted a dispute claim on 12/21 when I noticed the activity and started the process.

      I wasn't able to provide my supporting evidence to the fraud, unfortunately. With my case Sofi did not reach out to me and as it stands, has broken the terms of agreed upon cardholder agreement. Attached is clear proof of transactions by location proving it is impossible for me to have made this transactions. I also give clear explanation for the timing of this dispute.

      I am writing to formally address a pressing issue regarding my joint account with my husband, which has been unexpectedly restricted since January 31, 2025, without prior notice. While I understand that account restrictions can occur for various reasons, the lack of access to our funds for over 48 hours has created significant challenges for my family.
      On January 31, I contacted your security team for assistance and was informed that my account would be escalated as a priority. However, despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no resolution to date. This ongoing situation has severely impacted our ability to meet essential needs.
      On the night of January 31, I was forced to wake my children late at night to drive an hour to pick up my husband from work because he could not access funds for fuel. Additionally, due to the restrictions, my husband has had to take time off work on February 1, with further absences expected on February 3, 4, and 5, should this issue remain unresolved. I would like to inquire if Sofi has policies in place to address compensatory measures for lost wages in such situations.
      As of now, my 8-month-old baby requires formula, and with the deadline approaching, I am gravely concerned about our ability to provide for her needs due to this ongoing restriction. We also have rent due tomorrow, and I urgently request clarification on whether Sofi would assume any responsibility should this situation lead to eviction.
      It is critical that the primary account holder be granted access to our funds during this review process so we can adequately care for our children.
      I urge you to prioritize this matter and provide a resolution as soon as possible. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated.

      I would like to add that - during a call this morning (February 5 at 9:04 AM), I spoke with a security team member named *****, who incorrectly claimed our account had only been restricted since today. When I explained that we have been without access to our funds since January 31 and detailed the hardships we have faced including my husband missing work and my child going without formula (I had to walk to a hospital to retrieve some) ”***** responded by laughing. I find this behavior highly inappropriate and unprofessional, and I urge you to review the call recording.

      I made a purchase with Gift Rocket a week before Christmas for $107.00. Gift Rocket cancelled my purchase with no explanation. The charge was pending in my So Fi Checking account, I contacted Gift Rocket and was told since purchase was cancelled the pending charge would drop off and my money returned to me and if by chance the purchase posted to my account the money would be returned within 7 days. The money posted and was not returned within 7 days so On December 30th I filed a dispute with So Fi banking. It has now been over 30 days and the dispute is still processing I have been told. I have contacted them numerous times and always get the same run around. I was also told it could take up to 90 days for dispute to be compete. This is outrageous as gift rocket cancelled the transaction on me I did not cancel my purchase. There is no good reason why after 30 days I still don't have my money back. I was told they sent an email on Jan 3rd in regards to the dispute. I never received any communication from so Fi in regards to this dispute I always have to contact them which is a complete waste of time. I want my money refunded. I also have 55 dollars I believe invested and I have no way to get it out. I no longer want to bank with so Fi banking so I would like my refund of $107 and the money that is invested so I can close this account.

      I previously had 2 loans with SoFi. In early january I refinanced both of those loans and got additional cash through SoFi. With my new loan SoFi payed off the previous 2 loans but there was a credit balance of over 1100 dollars. It has been over 10 days and they still have not refunded the credit balance. I have called and called and get excuses. Because that credit balance was paid from the new loan, I have paid ****************************************** my posession. This is ridiculous. The credit balance came from their own overpayment so there should be no waiting or clearing process for these funds. I would never do business with this company again and would recommend that others avoid them.

      January 28, 2025 Dear *** ****:I write today as a severely distressed customer of ********************** Bank, once again due to my truly absurd check deposit limits this time lowered to $500.00 arbitrarily and only reflecting a $350.00 available deposit amount even in lieu of the ridiculous $500.00 limit.Please be advised that as I reject the previous response to my concern submitted to the ***** as I am well aware that SoFi indeed has the capability to increase my mobile check deposit limits (as done so to $25,000.00 manually in September 2024, in working with Ms. ****** *****), I kindly request that my mobile check deposit limits be revisited urgently as my account history remains without flaw and in excellence.Please contact me urgently to resolve this matter once again, as my account presently reflects an implausible mobile check deposit limit of $500.00 with only $350.00 able to be deposited.SoFi bank has engaged in unethical, harassing behavior against myself as retaliation for previously filed complaints meriting full and immediate resolution at this stage.This matter remains extremely time sensitive, and I appreciate your immediate response and resolution **********,****** ******** ************ M.

      SoFi has continued to arbitrarily and without cause lower my check deposit limits to nearly non-usable limits, and has yet to contact me to resolve this matter via telephone. SoFI has refused to speak with me on this matter, and has instead hid behind arduous and unethical Terms and conditions, meriting immediate resolution at this stage. A new Grievance will also be commenced today with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to ensure full resolution in this matter.
