My card and pin was used when they were lost sofi disputed the charges but found no error which I don't know how if I never let anyone ever use my card and I didn't make the charges and my money is just gone off my account and you telling me sofi is not gone do anything about it I ask that my dispute be opened back up and I ask sofi to help get my money back in my account because my bills need to be paid and my bill money was on my cardBusiness Response

I started a personal loan process with them.. which was take longer due to the company having to do a employee verification process.. I gave them info multiple times.. during one of the time I reach out to them. I was concerned about the loan expiring and I was told by an agent that it wouldn’t until Feb 2.. now my loan has expired.. before Feb 2.. I’ve reach out multiple time and told that my offer changed because it expired and when I go over that someone from their company told me it wouldn’t until Feb.. I get told I’ll hear from their lending time or a different team.
I feel like they did this on purpose so I would have a higher interest rate. I’ve reached out multiple times. Also fill a complaint with their company.Business Response

I noticed a fraudulent charge of $1845.96 to my checking account with ********************** Bank on 10/06/2024. I did some of my own research by calling the company, **************, to confirm whether or not they charged me a 3rd time. They did not. Also, all transactions include the location of their headquarters, *******, in the transaction description. The fraudulent charge didn't have that information. Instead the description said based out of **********. I contacted Sofi Bank the same day to report the fraudulent charge. They said something like the pending transaction had to post first before I could dispute it. I can't exactly remember. That week I had to bury my father. On 10/8/2024 it posted and I disputed it. The first time they rejected my claim, saying it was an authorized charge. I have evidence proving otherwise. So they reopened it and did more investigating. They still rejected my claim. I buried my father, was fired from my longtime job 2 weeks later, and in the same month Sofi Bank rejects my claim of a fraudulent charge, twice. I need help.Business Response

I have been fighting with SoFi since January 22, 2025 in regards to them locking down my account. They said it was due to fraudulent activity, but there was nothing fraudulent about a ***** coming from my boss for my weeks pay. I offered them my bosss phone number, and plenty of verification pieces, which they have declined to use. Instead, they unrestricted my account, and then as soon as the Zelle tries to come through again, they restrict it. They have accepted and taken the over $700 from my bosss account, but will not let it go in my account or be returned to him so that he can pay me another way. Not only am I dealing with this, but almost every representative I have spoken with has been nasty and rude. I have asked for escalation, and told I would get a call back. I have asked for a supervisor, and told I would get a call back. However, neither has happened. Give me my money, or return it to my boss so I can get paid!! It is illegal to keep someones money from them for no reason!!Business Response

I signed up for SoFi to receive the advertised 4.0% APY - this rate was only if I set up direct deposit, which I did. I proceeded to transfer money from my other accounts into ********************** and literally the same day that my first direct deposit hits (which then qualified me to reach the 4% APY,), I receive an email notifying me that my APY was decreasing to 3.8%. I contacted them and they had no explanation. I feel baited and switched and that I was mislead by their marketing practices.Business Response

I am filing a complaint against sofi money because my card and pin was lost sofi replaced my card and disputed transactions I did not recognize sofi gave me a credit to my account and December 30 made it permanent and closed the dispute and took the money back after the dispute was closed and the money was permanent this is a bad company to give me my money back then take it back this is not right I ask that my money get sent to me because my account was closed and my money was took back from me when my dispute was already closed uploaded is all the emails that was sent to me saying my dispute was closed and the credits was permanent i need my money to be sent to me.Business Response

I had them reinvestigate and I attached my police report and FTC IDENTITY THEFT REPORT. They "reinvestigated" and still came back to me on January 23rd, *************************************************************************** repay the money that was fraudulently taken from my bank account. My Sofi checking and savings account got restricted October the 4th 2024. I called them immediately and they told me my account was pending closure for bad ach transfers. Which was only bad because I couldnt access my account to transfer the money from savings to my checking account to cover the bill pay. Which whatever! Im ok with them closing my account as long as they send me a check with my balance on it. Which they said they will once the account closes. The issue Im having is I cant get a date for closure so I can get my money. Everytime I call them I get the same answer. They say once it closes they will mail me a check. Well its going on 4 months and I need my money. Its my primary banking account and Ive already gotten kicked out of 2 places because I couldnt pay my bills. Also my ***** and cell phone bills are two months behind. My balance in my account is: $5440.41 I am starving.Business Response
