    This review below (10-23-23) came into My BBB updates. Its pretty sad that person is so ***** in their Complaint. And who knows what that customer did to the employee to cause such an adverse employee reaction. We all know Yelp is the melting pod for passive aggressive people that would rather key your car than diplomatic communication. . Surfin has always been my go to place for Mediterranean food. In the years going there *** never been disappointed by the food or the employees. Sign sealed and delivered by a satisfied customer

    There has been a lot of complaints about this place, mostly with cleanliness and rude employees. I'd like to share a recent visit at this restaurant. If you look at the Yelp reviews, many comments are about the rude employees and uncleanliness. This review is about the older man in his 50's or 60's. He's loud, gruff, and rude. After we placed an order for dine-in, my husband forgot to order soup so he got back in line and asked the older man how long it would take. We were not in a hurry. The man seemed appalled and explained that they make everything from scratch. Not a big deal. We sat and waited for our food. After waiting for about ***** min for our first order, my husband asked how much longer. The man said the food had been ready and that he called us several times. We were sitting closely to the order station and didnt hear anything. The staff was a bit chatty so we thought they were talking among themselves. My husband brought our food to the table and we started to eat. When the soup was ready, my husband politely mentioned that it would have been appreciated if someone would have let us know that our food was ready instead of it just sitting there and getting cold. Instead of an apology, the man became unglued and started yelling at my husband and very loudly. We have never in our life time ever been yelled at like that. My husband quickly came to our table, packed our food, and he said we had to leave immediately. By the time we were out the door, the man was screaming at the top of his lungs. A couple walked in as we were leaving and they looked very concerned. As a customer who is loyal to small and local businesses, we felt very violated. We have never been treated this badly. Even if this man is an unhappy person or was having a bad day, it doesnt give him the right to mistreat his customers. Its unprofessional, unethical, and improper.
