    Cle Tile shipped us tiles late, and tiles were of poor, inconsistent quality. When asked about these issues, Cle tile did not respond. They did not take responsibility nor did they care that the tiles provided were substandard not manufactured to the quality that should be met by a company as theirs, selling at a premium price point. Weeks later out of the blue, we received a random email threatening us stating that they sent us wrong tile that we did not order. I did not take receipt of the tile, nor was I on site to receive delivery (otherwise I would have refused to accept the poor condition of the tiles I did receive), and dont know what tiles they are referring to. Our contractor also has no idea. They are now threatening to charge my credit card for the tile they claim to have sent in error and are sending extremely hostile / threatening. I am not even on the jobsite!! I have a 2 year old and 2 month old baby, and am Not responsible for Cles disorganized process and want them to take responsibility for their substandard product, and address that. In addition, I am not responsible if they or their shipper believes that they made a mistake in their shipping. Please help resolve!!! This is a bad company!

    I bought handmade/cement tiles from Cle in July 2024, they look completely different than on the website. They said that they advertise "variation" in colors for this tile (however the pictures don't reflect this at all). There are several boxes that are light gray, instead of dark gray/ink color. I have been going back and forth with them for FOUR WEEKS trying to get 16 extra dark tiles and the customer service is the worst I think I've ever dealt with. It's like a Robot AI response for each message. They only email me at most, 1x a day- so each time I respond it delays it further. *** is 100% responsible for delaying my bathroom renovation for over 5 weeks now. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CLE!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!! I swear if they respond to this with some kind of robot response about sealer I will flip out. They've emailed me that 10x. I'm convinced humans don't actually work at Cle, all robots.

    I am writing this complaint in reference to an order of Zellige Cindered Olive tile that I ordered from Cle' Tile. Upon arrival, each box of tile was labeled as Cindered Olive. After checking the first couple of boxes, the tile matched these specifications. As work on my project proceeded, it became apparent that while some of the tiles were the correct color, the vast majority of them in the remaining several boxes were incorrect and instead in a vastly different green color. The contractor attempted to "blend" the tile according to ***'s suggested guidelines; however, even after doing so the tile looked absurd given the obvious differences. While the company states that one should expect "variations" in color, any objective individual would obviously notice that these were not simply "variations" but instead two distinctly different types of tile. Both my contractor and the professional interior designer who recommended Zellige tile agree with this assessment. A cursory look at Cle's website makes it obvious that the majority of the tile is much closer to their "**********" color, once again confirming that these are, in fact, different tiles. After 10 days of back and forth with customer service, ***' still attempted to claim that these were expected variations in color, which, again, no objective person could possibly think this. Additionally, they have placed blame on me for "accepting" the material by installing it, a rationale that makes little sense given that once the differences in color were observed, the contractor simply attempted to "blend" the materials as per Cle's guidelines. At this point, it is manifestly obvious that Cle mis-labeled and/or improperly packaged disparate colors and is now simply trying to invoke bureaucratic loopholes and vague doublespeak language of "blending" and differences in color being a "celebration"--their actual language--in order to avoid following a simple ethical business practice of refunding the purchase.

    I ordered ********** + cl | natural octagon + bouchon (bundle) for a total of $3,163.35 from Cle Tile. Our order number is IN219004. We waited months to get the tile and when it arrived, 90% of the tile had purple and blue ink stains on it. Both myself and my designer contacted Cle immediately and manager **** offered a 10% discount to keep the tile. I said this was unacceptable as we were quoted $1500 for labor to sand and remove the stains (as **** suggested) and even so when we tried to sand them it left a noticeable ***** I told **** this was not an acceptable solution and I wanted to be sent a full set of tiles without these ****s IMMEDIATELY as our tile was supposed to be installed this week and our entire project is being held up as a result. We understand that zellige tiles have differences in color, chips and cracks which are noted on the Cle tile website and are characteristic to zellige. However, NOWHERE does it say your tile may be covered in blue and purple ink that you cannot get out with soap and water nor sanding without a dark **** and tons of extra labor. We need this problem fixed right away. A full shipment of tiles without any ink ****s on them whatsoever as fast as possible.
