    I went to Auto Electric Rebuilders after my car had a issue with the check engine light. They scanned my car & the owner said the issue was the spark plug and to have my regular mechanic fix it but he also said that if that didnt fix the problem it was most likely the computer system of my car that needed to be replaced.I did as he said, my regular mechanic checked & replaced the part the owner said but the problem wasnt fixed & I returned to his shop as he instructed.It was Jan.4th 2023 & the owner said since his first recommendation didnt work that the problem was the computer system that needed to be replaced & charged me $1,100 that day.It was Jan. 5th when I dropped off my **** **** replaced the computer.It was ready that day, I went to pick it up & as I drove it home the issue with the car occurred again. I called him immediately to let him know **** said to bring it back the next day to get it checked & fixed.The car was dropped off Jan.6th & for the next week the owner kept it while I would call him to see if it was fixed.He kept saying it wasnt ready just yet.He finally told me to pick it up Jan.13th but when I got there he told me he couldnt fix it so I asked him if the computer replacement had been necessary **** said no it wasnt.So I asked him why he replaced it if that wasnt the problem **** said because I brought it in to have it replaced & I reminded him that hes the one that scanned it & told me that the computer had to be the issue if his previous recommendation didnt work.I told him I didnt understand why I paid so much for something that didnt fix my car.I asked for a refund **** gave me excuses on why he couldnt but then said hed at least try to give me a refund for the amount of the computer part & to call the next day.*** called him **** said he hasnt been able to get in contact with the business that sold him the ********** hes refusing to give me back anything for what I paid him to fix my cars issue he never actually fixed.
