      My name is *******************. I signed a contract and rented a scissor lift with F&B rentals on Friday Oct 21, 2022 for one day rental only. Total contract was $454.00 but they asked me to make a deposit of $500.00. We finished using on Saturday Oct 22. I called F&B rental at 12:06pm to notify them for pick up but office closed. When I heard the message said that office is closed I hang up the phone. I did not realize that I can leave them a message; therefor I did not leave a message on that Saturday but I told them by the time I rent the Scissor lift that I need it for only one day. I've been rented like that all the time and they knew it that only one day rental. Until following Monday, October 24, 2022, F&B rentals called me and ask if Scissor lift done using, I called them back at 3:36 pm and spoke to one of their employees told them that Scissor lift was no longer need it since Saturday Oct 22, Please pick it up. They said that they don't have enough employee just leave it there they will pick it up later. Until Wednesday, Oct 26, 2022 they picked it up and found out that the battery was stolen. I called F&B Rentals and spoke to ******* asked her to find out for me who is responsible for the stolen battery, *****'s Refrigeration or F&B rentals cause F&B rentals leave their equpment there for several days. She said she believed *****'s Refrigeration will be paid for it. I told her then please find out and let me know how much the battery cost. **** then, F&B Rental had not informed me how much the battery cost. On Nov 1st, when I checked my bank and found out that F&B rental automatically withdrawn money from my bank account in the amount of $1,330.65 without notify me. I called F&B rentals at 4:10pm spoke to **************** I asked them why they withdrawn that much money from my bank without my authorization? They said sorry but that is the amount they charged including labor & battery cost. I told them that I was not happy with the way they have done that. They have not informed me the amount yet and had already withdrawn money from my bank. I told him I really upset with this. Please refund back to my account. ******* sorry and offered me now he only charge me $560 for the cost of battery, if Im ok, he will refund back the difference of $******. I told him I dont mind to pay $560 but I really hate that why you withdrawn money from my account without letting me know. .I counter offered ******* for $280. I told him that it's not my fault cause F&B rentals did not pick up their equipment several days later. He did not agreed.On Nov 2, 2022, I called F&B Rentals spoke to ******* at 9:52am & emailed her on 10:18am as seen below:Wed, Nov 2 at 10:18 AM Hi *******, Would you please forward this email to *******. Hi *******,As we spoke yesterday at 4:10PM on 11/1/2022. I will give you my answer as follows:1. F&B Rental was charged to my bank account in the amount of $1,330.65 on 10/30/2022 without notify me. I need this amount deposit back to my bank account right away.2. On the contract, I rented the equipment only 1 day that's why on page 3 contract stated that F&B rental pick up the equipment on Saturday 10/22/2022 between 1:00pm_ 3:00PM, 3. Amount due on the contract was $454.00 but F&B rental had already withdrawn $500.00 from my bank account on 10/21/2022; therefore, F&B rental needs to refunds $46 back to my account.4. If F&B rental needs to know what date the battery was stolen, F&B rental has a right to ask *** Supermarket for surveillance camera to find out.I dont hold any responsibility on this battery issue.Regards,******************* Show original message ******************* <*****************************>To:******************************* - F&B Rentals Wed, Nov 2 at 10:18 AM I called them back again and sent an email on Nov 7, I received no response from them. I the mean time, I contact my bank and ask for help to get back the money. I emailed my bank o Nov 2, & Nov 14 ask for status, ***** from my bank called back and confirmed that bank will credit me back the amount of $****** which is the same amount that bank will dispute with F&B rental (assume deduct the cost of battery iao $560). On Nov 17, 2022 I received a credit iao $****** and stated that from F&B rentals I thought the problem have been resolved. I did not contact F&B Rentals anymore after I saw credit in my bank. Until today, Dec 28, 2022, I received a letter from the bank stated that the will reversed the credit that they gave us on Nov 17,2022 because F&B rental provied the contract and it was valid charged iao $1330.65. I called F&B Rentals at 3:46pm on Dec 28, 2022 spoke to the Manager and was told that my bank told their bank that I don't want to pay any amount that is why they charge me full amount which they stole from my account without my authorization. I think they just make up a reason because if I don't want to pay any amount why my bank dispute only &****** not $1330.65?Please help to get them pay me back the amount they take from my bank without my authorization.One more thing, I signed a contract for $454.00 and they took my deposit $500.00 which is more than what is supposed to and they did not refund the difference as well.
