      I decided to start Byte aligners around September 8, 2024. I received my first set of aligners and got all the way to set 9, which was all they had sent me. I reached out to them to ask about the next set and found out they were actually supposed to send me the first 15 setsnot just 9.On January 3, 2025, they placed an order for the missing sets, labeling them as free replacements. Since then, Ive reached out to them countless times to ask why it was taking so long. Each time, they told me the aligners were already completed and just delayed due to shipping **********, nearly six months later, theyve informed me that the aligners were never even madedespite telling me for months that they were already done. At this point, my teeth look almost the same as when I started, and its been nearly a year since I began treatment.This is not what I signed up for. Ive lost time, made no real progress, and have little confidence Ill receive the aligners anytime soonif at all. I would like a full refund.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have reached out countless times and you give me no solution jut a run around aligners are supposed to be use for 1 week and its been around 6 months so no the chat doesnt help all they say is to get a dentist letter, saying its not safe for you to continue treatment but that has nothing to do with why Im requesting a refund. Im requesting a refund because its been almost a year and still my teeth look identical as to when I first started due to your giant delay which Im sure will get even bigger I want to refund because you did not give me what I paid, for I paid for a nicer smile which was supposed to take only six months I didnt pay for plastic I paid for straighter teeth which I did not receive

      I ordered Byte Aligners on 10/09/ 2023. My treatment was supposed to last 4 months. The Aligners didn't work. When I contacted Byte I was told they needed new impressions. After sending four impressions, all of which Byte claims weren't good impressions,I requested a refund. I was told I needed to pay an additional $2000 to restart treatment. I was also told if I wanted a refund I would need to go to a dentist that would state I no longer was a candidate for the Aligners. My dentist doesn't want anything to do with the matter. Evidently Byte has a reputation. I am financed through Allegro. I filed a complaint with them. Today I got a letter from them stating no refund was possible because all services had been rendered. I stated this was impossible because included in that balance was a charge of $549 for retainers which I never received due to the Aligners not working in the first place. You don't get retainers until the initial Aligners treatment is complete. Additionally the hyperbyte device broke which ********************** stated they would send another one but never did. I would like a full refund. I

      I ordered the retainer set on 10/31/23 and started treatment. Everything was going fine, until they would not send me the second round of retainers. I am unable to finish treatment - and only half way through. I paid $2399.00 for treatment and when I asked for the second set of retainers on 10/24/24 they denied my request and are asking me to fill out some form online.

      I began aligner treatment with Byte on January 10, 2023. Shortly after starting, I began experiencing significant dental issues, including painful clashing of my front teeth, loss of contact in my back teeth, and a severely misaligned bite. I reported these symptoms to Byte multiple times throughout the year. Instead of properly addressing my concerns or advising me to see a dentist in person, Byte repeatedly sent me more aligners, or instructed me to go weeks without aligners. These actions only worsened my bite and created more pain and damage.Despite trusting Bytes assurances that my bite would settle in the retainer phase, a full year of retainer use failed to improve my condition. I was eventually forced to stop wearing the retainers altogether because they caused severe front tooth pain and jaw discomfort. My bite remains misaligned, and I now suffer from ******** and sensitivity I did not have prior to ************ early 2024, Byte issued a company-wide Urgent Field Safety Notification. This formal warning admitted that their patient onboarding process failed to screen out customers with dental conditions that should have disqualified them from treatment. The notice specifically urged patients like myselfthose with malocclusion, bite complications, and other risk factorsto stop treatment immediately and consult an in-person dentist. Byte also voluntarily paused the sale of their aligners and kits due to safety concerns. This announcement confirms that my case is one of many affected by this failure.Despite this, Byte has refused to take responsibility for the harm I experienced. They closed my case without offering a refund or corrective treatment. I have since filed a complaint with the *** and am now requesting support from the BBB to hold Byte accountable and recover the money I paid for a service that left my teeth worse than before.

      - I purchased aligner on 08/23/2024 in the amount of $1949.00 in full via credit card. - My treatment including 12 upper and 18 lower tray. Each tray should be worn for a week before moving on to the next tray. - First shipment was delivered on 09/09/2024 consisting of 12 upper trays and 15 out of 18 trays. - 01/07/2025 until 03/05/2024. I have emailed them back and forth regarding my upper teeth that are not straight (12/12 trays completed) they refused to fix it until I am done with my lower trays as well. - 03/05/2025 lower teeth remaining tray ordered but is never processed until today's date 05/16/2025. - Reached out MULTIPLE times after that for a refund. They then requested Dentist's letter. - Dentist letter was sent 05/15/2025 will all information required including recommendation to stop treatment and seek in person Orthodontist. - 05/13/2025 filed dispute to ****, request then denied due to transaction more than 6 months old.- 05/16/2025 they said it is missing date, name of the doctor, and the reasoning to stop treatment.       I paid $2400 for aligners through Byte. They will not send me the rest of the aligners that came with the treatment plan. I really need your help getting the rest of the product or a refund in order to finish the process. I can provide whatever documentation you need. They did however provide the first 11 weeks. The treatment plan was 22 weeks. I would like the remainder of the plan or half the money back.

      I started my Byte journey in Sept of 2020. Starting with my first retainer it never fit there were gaps and every retainer after that had gaps they never fully fit and I didnt know that wasnt normal. So I contacted them and informed them that I would need refinements. I received my refinements and they all of still never fully fit. My bite was even more off then before treatment, I couldnt bite down properly. So I decided to get Invisalign through my dentist is a little more costly but worth it. They did my 3D scan and said my bite was really off and my are teeth filing down. I tried to get a refund through byte and they said no. So if anyone is considering byte dont do it. The customer service is not helpful at all. My dentist was shocked to find out that byte is just retainers and thats it. With Invisalign they apply resin buttons to your teeth to make your teeth move in the right places. Byte is not a legit business.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Throughout the course of my treatment, I made several attempts to reach out to your team directly to address concerns I was having with the aligners. Unfortunately, my efforts were repeatedly dismissed or met with responses that did not provide adequate resolution. I was not pleased with the aligners from the beginning, as they did not fit properly, caused discomfort, and failed to produce the promised results.

      Most concerning, after following the treatment plan as instructed, I saw no meaningful improvement and began experiencing additional oral health discomfort. As a result, I sought a professional evaluation from my personal dentist, who has formally recommended that I discontinue treatment. My dissatisfaction with the product and lack of support throughout this process have only reinforced my decision to discontinue use.

      I respectfully request a full review of my case and a reconsideration of the refund decision. I have followed all necessary steps in good faith.
