I started my treatment in January maybe February. Before then they were very available for questions or anything but after I started getting my liners I started to have a little bit of issues. Whenever I would try to contact them I get an email stating that they have more than unusual high volume customers. They asked me to send pictures my aligners would crack I'm not a grinder they cut into my gum in my tongue. They keep asking me to send pictures I keep sending the pictures of the cracked liner the fit of the aligners. Can't get a hold of nobody I'm at the end of my treatment I still have a gap in my mouth I have one tooth that hasn't turned and my teeth are still a little crooked. It's so hard to get in touch with someone and I sometimes my jaw hurts from them. I went to my dentist and we took a recent pano and looked at the pano from last year and there's no difference in both panos. Regardless I am unhappy with the money I invested into this company I would like a refund. For what I paid for.Byte

Reason I'm giving this company a 1 is because they sold to my child whom is only 16!!! My other complaint is due to this my child had to have 2 emergency surgeries of the result of using this product!!! These 2 surgeries were both life threatening and exactly 9 days apart from one another!!! I'm not at all satisfied with this company and I really want answers b/c your little receptionist kept giggling and laughing about the situationByte

Do not order from them. If you will have any issues with aligners good luck getting any help. I have been sending customer support pictures they requested to identify problem for almost 2 months. And then they finally emailed me stating that I need to pay another $699 to fix the problem because I already ordered first set of retainers. I have selected in the app that progress is not satisfactory prior to ordering retainers with no feedback. I ordered first set of retainers because they send me an email telling me to do so. It is a rip off. If aligners will fit then you will be fine but if not then you pretty much wasting your money. I am really disappointed with Byte. What a waste of my time and moneyByte

I spent $2300 on the entirety of my aligners and was only sent out the first half. My teeth are not fixed and they are not doing anything about it. They told me to back track to my previous aligners since they had a gap between my teeth. Once I back tracked, they would send out the rest of the aligners. One month later and still nothing. This company is a complete scam. I regret my purchase. Anyone and everyone should stay far away from Byte as they lack customer service and you will be scammed. I am still not promised the rest of my aligners and I completely paid off my entire treatment:(Byte

Please note that we do only send the first 15 sets of aligners if customers treatment plan exceeds 15 weeks. This allow for our team to review the fit and progress of the aligners midway to ensure everything is on track to the projected end result. If there are any fit issues this allows our team to get you back on track with the treatment plan before sending out the remaining steps. If the remaining steps were sent without this check-in then they would not fit upon arrival nor will the end results be achieved. I started their program with the guarantee of 100% customer satisfaction. The Hyperbyte didn't work from the start and the "retainers" gave me migraines. I emailed customer service multiple times with my issues and after going back and forth they sent for their product and had me sign a "general release". My account was cleared of any funds owed and we parted ways. A YEAR LATER....I'm contacted by a debt collection agency stating Byte has escalated my "balance owed" to them. WTF!!! I sent them the paperwork showing I was given a refund after sending the product back! No one will give me any answers and meanwhile its my credit that is damaged. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!Byte

It was from a debt collection agency because I spoke to them and that's how they identified themselves. If I hadn't saved the refund information clearing my account since last August, I would have had no chance to fight this debt. How your company handles it's customer service and ultimately their credit is in serious need of an overhaul. How many people didn't save the backup to their refund and are now being penalized?
After several conversations (and I had documentation promoting I was correct) I have new emails apologizing for how this has impacted me and they are removing me from collection (gee....thanks) and clearing the debt....what should have been done a year ago!Review fromRose B.

At first it was an incredible experience, they were very responsive up until I first got my set of aligners...then it was downhill from there. After doing the initial 9 weeks I was not satisfied with the outcome and it took about 1 month to even hear from customer service (their phone line has been shut off for about 4 months now).
After finally hearing back they stated that I should redo the impressions and entire process. Another month passed *** I finally get the new impressions sent in and then it took 2+ months to even hear from them/recieve new aligners.
The new aligners for my refinement have arrived with zero instruction or information and it is adding an additional 12 weeks to the process. Keep in mind I was supposed be done after 9 weeks, we are now going on 9+ months with horrible communication and customer service. The only offers for these issues have been promo codes for whitening foam.
Horrible company and horrible customer service. A shame that they are responsive up until you spend your money.Byte

I started off my journey with Byte very optimistic and excited but have grown increasingly frustrated with them. I was told I would have a representative who checked in with me regularly - no one ever checked in with me the whole treatment time. Upon completion of my treatment I reached out to say my teeth were not fully aligned yet. I was able to talk to customer service who seemed highly uninterested in my concerns and they never connected me to the clinical team. I have gotten no helpful responses to this urgent concern for 6 weeks, and absolutely no answer to wether they will deliver on their promise of straightening my teeth. I would highly recommend using a different company.Byte

They stopped taking phone calls and emails while people have issues and orders and questions...shadiest company ever and there's no way of getting refunds. As crappy smiledirect is too, it's alot better and more professional... ***'t think once about going withh this company, you can't even get a hold of them anyways.Byte

Poor aligners and poor service!!! The aligners didn't fit. I tried to tell them in the beginning and they just said to move up a set. Toward the end it wasn't finished. I called it took 3 weeks for an email return and when I originally called I was on my last aligner. I replied after that 2 weeks later I got an email I didn't read it because it was less 2 weeks before my wedding. So about a week before my wedding I got a notification that my payment declined. Due to loosing my debit card not long before that and didn't realize I forgot to change it. About an hour later this guy calls can't speak English to good. He announces himself and started to ask me to confirm my info. I told him I don't know you and I'm not verifying anything because you just told me you name that's all. He proceeded to argue that he did and then said thank you for being nice and said his name and Byte and hung up. Omg I wasn't a priority so my wedding is my priority. So after everything thing settled and I called and talk to someone. I was about a month and half behind. I called and explained everything and that im going to pay in about a week he took a promise to pay and said my account will be fine. 2 days before the promise to pay they send me to collections!!! That's where I am at the moment just got the email about it!Byte
