      I made a substantial effort to try and purchase 2 pairs of reading glasses from them, and everything was fine until it came time to pay. Then the 3-card-***** started.Currently, if you "bundle" 2 or more products, they will give you a discount for bundling. BUT, if you order them just as you would by adding them to your cart (not under the "bundled" part of a dropdown menu), you pay full price. That's simply not good business practice, and, it's a little dishonest, and a little predatory.Although I put in all my personal information, I didn't complete the transaction because I didn't like the way it was progressing as money came into the picture. I got NUMEROUS emails enticing me to complete the purchase, several of which indicated a 20% off my cart with a discount code. So, I tried several more times and the 20% discount wasn't applied, and there was never a opportunity to put in the discount code. That's called a Bait-and-Switch, and it's illegal. Also, no explanation why the 20% discount wasn't applied (or why it couldn't be applied).I sent a detailed note to ThinOptics explaining what had happened. They responded essentially telling me to call them to place the order, or text with their customer support, online.What I really wanted was an explanation, and never got one that was satisfying. We went back and forth, and I finally asked them to not respond anymore, it wasn't getting solved.The trickery in paying for the order had other problems ******* Pay, offered at the beginning of the transaction mysteriously disappeared if you didn't start with that, or evaded the automatic Shopify payment method).Bottom line is that they aren't honest. They lure you in with some expectation of savings which don't appear, they coerce you into options for payment, and they aren't uniform in their discounts. Buyer beware.I will warn anyone who will listen to not buy from them.

      I ordered 3 red, green and yellow Manhattan reading glasses, they where 50% off, today I received e-mail stating they are out of inventory, I asked for refund, but when I checked their website they are available for purchase but at the full price. I called customer service and complained they offered me 30% off of the original price. This is very dishonest business and I will not recommend them to any one.

      I would like to have eyeglasses from thinoptics - looks very appealing for me. And I actually ordered their product last month, but I have never received it. I tried to communicate with them, but was not able to get any adequate response. So I started thinking they might be a scam :-(
