They are in violation of their own May 2023 court settlement. They are again making up fees and deposits without documentation or notification. I have website invoice screen captures and a screen capture of my payment history from my credit union. They refuse to send a bill either by email or paper, you always have to log in to get the amount to pay. There has been no time I was ever notified I was behind, until I received a call May 7. I was a few days late, I apologized and told her I was on the road and I would send a payment when I got home. Which I did, they received it May 8, according to their email to me. As far as I know I'm *************, they don't pick up the garbage. I called. They are claiming I'm behind in payment and have to pay a deposit now $88.00 and a restart fee of $55. I ask where the documentation of this is and ******* says they don't have to notify me to take a deposit after 8 years of service and even though I paid before May 14 like they told me, I had to pay $55.They want my credit card number. I tell them I can send them a check like I have for the last 2 years and she says I can't because they won't know how to apply the check. She now says I have to write 2 separate checks for each amount and tell them what the checks are. I log into the website which now shows I am behind, $6.95. This was not on the account Tuesday May 7, when I paid the bill. There is also no documentation for a need for a deposit or a reconnection fee.2 weeks ago, I called for a large item pickup. They also took both items over 2 weeks. Now ******* claims I have owned them 6.95 since December 2024. If this was true, why did they continue service? They want $143.00 to reinstate my service.

I am rejecting this response because: they are misrepresenting facts.   They contacted me May 21st.  ******* informed me I was not required by law to use their service in my part of the county.  I canceled that date.  She gave me a total of *****, I sent a check and they have received it.   That fact they didn't mention that whole call 2 days ago is concerning but not surprising   I am willing to close this complaint if the above statement is documented and they promise to stop contacting me. They had 8 years and 20 calls to work this out.  Since I have no account with them, I consider the matter resolved,

      To Whom It May Concern:

We understand the customers statement that final payment in the amount of $47.98 has been sent. While we have not yet recorded receipt of the payment on our end, we trust it is in transit and will be processed accordingly.

We have documented that service on the account was closed as of the customers requested cancellation date, and no further charges have been incurred beyond that date.

We appreciate resolving this matter constructively through this process.

      Sincerely,
      **** *******

Each year I am charged between $50 and $100 in overage fees for garbage pickup. This is our second home and we have never overloaded our garbage cans. I have called the company to dispute and they refuse to reverse the charges.

      Business Response

      Hello *****,

We show that you did reach out to us back in January regarding your overages. The representative stated that the call was dropped and that they called back and left a voicemail for you to please reach back out to us. We will look into the account and the charges and set up audits at the property to verify any driver markings and trash collections immediately.

      Thank you,

The primary concern revolves around the disappearance of the trash bin lid from my property. The lid was taken by the trash collector several months ago, and despite repeated requests for its return, I have yet to receive any resolution from Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal.I have diligently contacted their customer service on multiple occasions, detailing the issue and requesting the return of the lid. However, these requests have been consistently ignored, leading to a prolonged and frustrating situation. As a result, I find myself left with three reasonable options for resolution:Return of the original lid to its rightful place.Replacement of the missing lid with a new one.Reimbursement for the cost of purchasing a new lid.Considering the prolonged period of neglect and the significant inconvenience caused, I am inclined to pursue the third option and request reimbursement for the cost of a new lid. My attempts to resolve this matter amicably have unfortunately been met with indifference and negligence from Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal. Moreover, the extended duration of this issue has resulted in additional complications and expenses on my part. Specifically, I have incurred fees amounting to $600 due to the company's failure to address the matter promptly and responsibly.I kindly request your assistance in mediating this dispute and facilitating a resolution that is fair and reasonable. I believe that my options should be honored promptly to rectify this situation. I expect Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal to take immediate action to address this matter and provide a satisfactory resolution.
