Their self-paced products that are available for three months from "start date" are an absolute trap. The three months begin not when you actually start the course, as the description suggests, but when you log in.
When I spoke with a "senior representative" on the phone to get help after my course expired (without me ever completing any of the course work), she was extremely condescending and pretended like there was no one else in the office who would even be available to speak with me to help resolve my issue. I haven't been spoken to like that since I was in kindergarten. "Sometimes you don't get all the answers you want in life," I was told. Just...wow.
I cannot and will not be paying them $140 again for any other courses, ever, for any reason. I agree with folks on here that I wish I had read these over reviews first. Do not work with this company.

Unfortunately, I signed up for the Medical Coding course through Coconino Community College. After filling out online information form, I immediately received phone calls from fast-talking tele-marketers calling me, even over the weekend reading from a script, "You better sign up before the deadline." They even offered me a discount on the course. Presently going through this online course, I realize it will not prepare me, or anybody else, for Certification. Not only that, but it took them over two weeks after starting Medical Terminology course to send out textbooks. Sent (8) eight emails (can provide) and received emails back saying they're on backorder blah, blah, blah. They did not even over a complimentary extension for the inconvenience. Feeling duped and deceived, I did some research on Ed2Go, which is owned by Cengage. Cengage filed for bankruptcy in 2014, and was bought out by a Global investment group. I am disappointed in Coconino College for selling this course, which is just a shakedown for money that victimizes people hoping to acquire job skills. Like other posters here my refund was denied.

Does ed2go perform a hard inquiry into your credit when applying for financial assistance?

Worse experience ever! I am not sure why they are still in business. I am still waiting on my certificate of completion!! I passed the final for the course, and still nothing. No return calls or emails!

Back on 2/15/2022, I was always interested in Medical Billing and Coding. Northshore Tech Community College and Ed2go were partners. The cost of the program was $2995. While speaking with a Salina, I made the down payment of $200 in two transactions($101.00 and $99). This left $2795 to be financed at 9% interest. Ed2Go used Launch Servicing to collect payment on their accounts and by March 10, 2022, on account XXX851000 I paid in full $2801 to Launch Servicing LLC. Then, I received a paid in full letter on March 11, 2022 that my balance was paid in full on March 10, 2022 and the credit bureau would reflect a $0 balance. I studied night and day for 6 months in order to gain employment sooner. I passed the Medical Terminology and Medical Billing and Coding course with "A." By the way, I still have not received my Certificate of Completion and today is 10/4/2022. During the six months, I tried applying for jobs in the Medical Billing and Coding field as an apprentice/entry level, but was unsuccessful in gaining employment. Ed2Go advertised an externship. After filling out a survey and emailing my resume Ed2Go was trying to assist me in finding a job. I was then told that Ed2Go really did not have externships in my course and I had to find an externship. I had just moved to Louisiana so was not able to locate a place to work.
I needed to take the CPC exam, I studied the online review, AAPC study guide and Practice exam, YouTube videos, reading guidelines from the ICD10 and CPT coding books. I added notes within these books. Fast forward to 8/16/2022, I logged into Examity at 11:15 for my 11:30 exam and was yelled at by the proctor for ten minutes to adjust the camera. I had never seen an exam like this one so time was a major factor. ED2GO's course had not prepared me for this exam at all. I scored a 69% out of 70%. I attempted the test on 9/30/22 and was still unsuccessful due to technical issues. I am asking for a refund Ed2Go, please help somehow!

I completed the Microsoft Office Master 2019 course in late October 2021, which included Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The cost was $1695, plus an additional $400 for 4 exam vouchers (good until 10/22/22) to use "at" a Certiport Authorized Testing Center to become master certified, totaling $2095. The course itself was very informative, and was well worth the investment. However, the Certiport concept, as far as utilizing the exam vouchers was a constant headache. I contacted Ed2go (by email) in August for advice, as all of the CATC's in my area required you to be a student at the institution in order to use their Certiport system. They mentioned that I could take the exams at home, at which they sent a link with instructions on how to get started, and I was able to create an account through Certiport and set up my first exam (which required a $35 proctor fee) for September 7th (PowerPoint). I received instructions and a link from "Get Certified On demand" which I read over and clicked on the link 1 hour prior to my exam. The instructions along with the link that was sent seemed unspecific. I attempted, but could not get further assistance, and I was forced to cancel 5 minutes prior to the exam. I asked Ed2go for a refund for the vouchers and they (Elvira) refused, stating reasons that I "missed the exam date" and that I "had the vouchers for almost a year anyway". The "missed the exam date" accusation is entirely false, as I in fact had everything set up to take the exam at home, and was on time. The timing with the vouchers is irrelevant, as I was still well within the one year time frame. In a final effort, I contacted Henrietta from "Get Certified on demand" for further assistance, at which she simply accused me of not following the instructions and informed me to "find a different testing center". (enough said).
4 stars for the course, 1 star for the Certiport concept. The $400 I paid for the 4 unused exam vouchers does in fact need to be refunded.

My experience was horrible, I paid the initial fee of 99 dollars and was told that I had a certain amount of time to cancel. Once I paid the 99 dollars and got on the web site I was unable to get any correspondence with them so I hit the cancel button that they told me to use, the cancel would not work and when I tried to talk to them, they just shuffled me to another department that shuffled me to another department. This went on for weeks and when I finally heard from them they were sending me a bill and telling me that the time had passed for me to cancel. This company, I feel, scammed me and now even though I haven't used there product and tried desperately to cancel they have reported to the credit Bureau and have damaged my credit rating. This is not fair business practicing. I have kept all emails and I have a saved messages confirming my desire not to go forward with there program. I need help to get me out of this nightmare.

    Purchased Full Stack Software Developer.
The first two units were extremely easy for me since I have prior knowledge of the topics. Moving into the following units I became so lost I couldn't continue. There is nowhere to get additional help if you get stuck on any part of it.
In addition to that I have extreme extenuating circumstances preventing me from being able to proceed even if I wanted to. I reached out to customer service and explained my situation to see about getting a refund and they were very unhelpful, and were unable to even offer me a partial refund.
I wish I would have saved my money and just taken classes on LinkedIn or even just followed tutorials on YouTube.
    SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I recently took ed2go's self-paced Introduction to Interior Design to turn an interest into practical use for a personal project. The course gave an excellent overview of what kind of industry careers exist, design styles and their history, and project management. It focused more on design theory, principles and elements. There were lessons I didn't think would be relevant to what I was looking for, but some of them got me rethinking my ideas! I enjoyed the interactive learning tools, like flashcards and quizzes, but more videos would have been good. The content was easy to read and absorb, and I like being able to download the PDF for each lesson to have for future reference. Good value for the money, and a good way for someone to decide if they want to go further in the industry.
