Purchased a car part and did not receive the correct part. Immediately contacted customer service to initiate return (August 7, 2024). Company website says refunds should be issued within 1-7 days. I have verbal confirmation that the company has the part and I want my money back - its been 30 days. Part was shipped back on 8/15.Business Response

8/27 ordered parts. 9/3 said it was delivered to front door at 10:30 pm with a black photo. No one delivers residential packages all night to homes. We never received the product and keep getting the runaround. They have to submit a claim with 2-3 business days, then you might get reimbursed down the road . I saw their website online and it asked for my phone number and no sooner than I entered it my phone rang. The man said they had my part,he called the company Prestige auto parts, and wanted me to give my credit card number to him over the phone. When he said that "we have your car part" he didn't ask anything about the year make or model of my car or anything. I told him f the company didn't cease and desist any further communications with me on my phone or email address. Then they kept calling and kept calling. Back to back and from different numbers I might add! I never answered and blocked each number and turned them over as spam. They called 13 times in a row like I said from different numbers in a span of five minutes! I do not want anyone affiliated with this company calling me and I do not want nor do I give my permission for them to SELL any of my information.Business Response

I purchase headlights that claimed they fit a 2012 Nissan Rogue, but they did not fit. Now they are keeping the money i paid for shipping and charging me the shipping to return them. of $61, they are going to refund around $25. Their mistake that I have to pay for. Our Policy states, "We are not responsible for any return freight charges unless the return is due to a manufacturers defect or a direct result of an error on our part." We ordered a grill for our project truck from carparts.com and we ended up with the wrong part. We sent it back within 2 days, they received it. We are now at 2 weeks later with no refund so we reached out. They're now telling us since we ordered the wrong thing that they are only going to give us $48 back out of our $107 that we spent because it was our fault for ordering the wrong color. ***** certified technician.July 14 2024 Ordered a power steering pump and the first one was bad(leaking from base) No big deal. Contacted them and got the ok to send that part back. That process was fine and I got my refund.July 25 2024 Ordered another power steering pump. Installed the part and it was also bad. Didnt work at all. 2 parts and lots of wasted power steering fluid. Now Im mad. Let them know what was going on and started the return process. They received the part on aug 5th. Received a partial refund for core return on aug 20th. I didnt send a core back I sent the original bad part they sent me. So I called and let them know the mistake. They let me know theyd have the warehouse inspect the part and contact me with the updated refund amount. Got a email aug 28 and warehouse says they confirmed part was a core. No its not!. Clearly whatever warehouse youre getting parts from cant inspect the new parts theyre sending out. Now they cant inspect a clearly new part they they sent me. So now Im out $320 after the partial refund. No parts from these guys and wasted time. They are out here scamming people! Buyer beware! Had to order a new part directly from ***** to fix the car.Business Response

Purchased a car part on July 11th and part received was defective. Initiated a refund and went through their processes of return item which I did on July 25th. They confirmed that they received the item on July 29th and that it would take an inspection to receive my refund which they quote 1-7 business days. I emailed their support after it had gone past the quoted time and they replied on august 12th stating the part still needed to be inspected. I believe I have given them enough time and still have not received a refund.Business Response

I was told by CarParts.com that headlight assembly Order# CPZ383034961 that I ordered is no longer covered by our 1-order year manufacturer warranty as it was purchased last March 24, 2023. I paid $442.99 and headlight assembly was defective and stopped working a few months after the 1 year warrant expired) I was told by **************** to file a Lifetime Replacement for your headlight. Claim Lifetime Replacement in a Few Steps 1. Sign in or create a CarParts.com account.2. Purchase your new replacement part.3. File a claim through our Returns Center.4. Ship your original part back to us.5. Upon inspection, we'll issue you a refund.I did as instructed by ****************, ordered the replacement headlight assembly Order Number:CPZ241951500768213, Order Date:Jul 13, 2024, AMOUNT $526.09 .CarParts.com received my return of defective headlight assembly on July 25, 2024. On August 1st I called customer service inquiring about my Refund Total: of $398.69. The representative told me that it was received and inspected and that they had to issue me a check since I had paid with ****** in full. That they didnt know what address to send the check to . Seems like they would have mailed the refund check to the same address where part was shipped to, so I gave them same address they shipped to and was told that I would be receiving the check by mail with 7 days . It is now August 17, no refund check received, and its almost a month since they received the return. I have called and emailed customer service , nothing resolved. Very disappointed with CarParts.com and now Im out $969.08 for a $442..98 defective headlight assembly I purchased from them. have attached supporting evidence. I ordered some parts was told they would be here Monday and they have not showed up yet and it's Thursday I really urgently needed these parts and now I'm trying to track my order they are telling me that they have no data found and the money has been taken from my bank so I'm pretty blowed about the whole situation and need to know where my money or parts are.
