    I found this company directly through ****** search, which displayed a 5-star rating with numerous positive reviews. Based on this seemingly reliable information, I chose to contact them for locksmith services. Unfortunately, this company engaged in a bait-and-switch scam charging me $1,150 for services that were misrepresented and grossly overpriced. In addition, they claim to only accept cash or Zelle; a method that is irreversible and untraceable. I later discovered, through additional reviews, that Master Key Replacement has been manipulating their ****** review profile. Specifically, it appears they submit 5-star reviews from customers own phones after pressuring them post-service. This practice has artificially inflated their rating, and as a result, I was misled into trusting a business that is actively defrauding customers.

    I lost my keys for my ****** RAV-4 2012 and contacted Master Key on April 14th, 2025. I was initially quoted over the phone for a single replacement key for $150, however upon completion of services, I was charged $730 for 3x Transponder Keys despite being quoted for $150 per key. Per the receipt: - $40 for a Service Fee - $240 to reset the immobilizer - $150 x 3 Transponder Keys As I questioned the "technician", ***** *****, about the pricing and he stated that his "boss" has given me the best pricing. However, after looking into the Department of Consumer Affairs database, I discovered that ***** ***** is the "CEO", "CFO" and "Secretary" of the business (See attached). Thus, both deceitfully and misrepresenting the transparent pricing & his status at the company.Furthermore, after educating myself, I understand that the $40 Service Fee & $240 "Resetting of the Immobilizer" was a ************* to an uneducated consumer. I am reaching out to the Better Business Bureau as I have been observing the deletion of negative ****** Reviews from the business's ****** Profile & seeking reimbursement for charges that I was NOT quoted for.
