      I really try to be objective when posting a review because I myself like to be truthful & fair. ******* came out & was punctual, Professional & very pleasant to speak with during her visit. We decided to hire them to perform closet shelving in our MBRM ******************************** room. Per the plan installers omitted paneling at the bottom of the closet space per *******, minor mistake. 2nd, ******* miscalculated measurements in the laundry room for access to the vent/gas line for the dryer. This error offset our cabinets above our machines. 3rd, a revisit would be necessary to make these corrections We had asked for installers to call us when in route & or if late! On the return date 8/29, neither happened. We called & spoke with/****** who apologized because they were supposed to be here between 1-3pm & he said they would be here before 4pm. Again no calls in ************ are late. It is now 4:15 pm. Not happy. :o(

      I didn't expect it to come to this, but the issue with Closet World has turned out to be far worse than we anticipated. We initially considered California Closets but chose Closet World because it was more affordable, and my husband had a great experience with their service when they installed a closet at his mom's home 10 years ago. Everything seemed fine until the installer did a poor job and was missing parts. What followed was a 2-5 month ordeal, with another installer having to come out to fix the mess. At one point, an installer even left a larger hole where the handles were supposed to gocompletely unacceptable. How do you not know how to install a handle on a drawer? It wasn't even a big closet. It was ridiculous.The manager at the time, ******, apologized repeatedly. I sent emails and photos of the issues and requested a credit or discount. However, ****** left the company in December, and a new manager, *******, took over. When everything was finally fixed in January, ******* failed to address any of my concerns and even claimed he couldn't access ******'s emails, which should have been transferred in the *** system. I spoke with him today, and he told me he couldnt request a discount because it was 8 months later. This level of service is unacceptable, especially from a company of this size. After all the time I had to take off work to deal with these issues, a discount is the least they could offer.I wish we can leave pictures and videos on this site. Here is an email I sent back in October 2023. This was just the beginning and mind you they had many different installers come and fix the problems until January:In The master bedroom's cabinet- here are the following issues that need to be addressed:1. The left side of the cabinet has a gap and a trim piece needs to be installed to cover the gap. I already addressed this issue from the first time he came and did the install and this was not fixed this time around.it kept going...

      Only reason it's not a 1 star is because the worker who did the job was great. But I never do reviews, let alone a bad one, but my experience warrants one. Met with the designer on 7/8 and received the quote and the layout I wanted and decided to move forward. First available date was 7/23. A week before our install date I get a text saying that the job was put on pause due to a design issue. I coordinate with the designer to figure out what's going on and she then fixes it and says they will honor the original install date. Fast forward to 7/22, the day before the install date, and I get a call to schedule the install. They said they had to pull off my job due to the design issue and now needs to be rescheduled. I ask to talk to a supervisor and they say they don't have one for my file until the install date is scheduled and to expect a call to go over it. Never received a call. I took the day off work already on 7/23 and now needed to take a second day off. You are warned.

      On May 5, 2024, a sales **** whose name does not appear anywhere on the contract, came to my home and **** up plans for a closet system. I told her I was indeed going to give them the job at which point she told me there was a deposit required. The contract price was $5032.00, the deposit $1006.00 and balance due would be $5032.00. They would only take my debit card, no check. I was told that I could call when I was ready to have the work done and schedule it. The time finally came on August 5th, and I called to schedule installation. After being switched around to a couple of people, I was told by the scheduler I spoke with that before they could schedule the work, I would have to pay 40%. I almost fell over. I told her I have never heard of such a thing and certainly wasn't told this by the sales **** *** I k*** why. I believe she intentionally didn't tell me. I am a senior citizen and am not so stupid that I would pay for a job before the work was even done. I asked to speak with the person highest in authority there (**************), and of course she wasn't there so they were going to connect me to another sales manager whose name I believe was ******. She was on the phone so I was asked for my number and told she would return my call. That was two days ago, I'm still waiting for my phone to ring. I would like a full refund of my deposit so I can call a reputable company to install a closet system. After reading the reviews, which I should have done prior to calling Closet World, I realize there is some kind of scam going on, I was floored by the number of complaints and what those complaints were..... It truly borders and perhaps crosses the border of elder abuse.

      Horrible customer service,they cut into my ********************** wall uneven and left spaces all over and said they don't do moldings or trim to at least cover up their mistakes.Called a supervisor and he said it looks normal,and I asked for someone to come look at the work and was hung up on and no return call,stay clear of this overpriced company
