    Hi ********,

I'm sorry to hear about this issue! Unfortunately, we have not run any $50 rebate for veterans. Could you please send me an email at **************************************** with the advertisement or promise for the rebate? I would like to look further into this issue.

The roof rack system I purchased (bars and cargo carrier) was advertised to fit my 2-door ****. Yes, it would fit, but ***** never said it could only mount over the doors. Once received, the whole setup was just not going to work. The box with the cargo carrier (over $700) wasnt even opened, but apparently they have a no return policy. Im out $1000 with nothing to show for it. They wouldnt even let me just ship it back to them.

Excellent product, support, & reliability! I have owned thier rack systems for over 15 yrs now on two different vehicles. They really came to the table when I had a repair / warranty request.

don't buy on their website, go to their amazon store to avoid ridiculous shipping costs. i bought the mounting brackets for truck bed cross rails system on their site bc i couldn't find them anywhere else. right after the product gets shipped to my house i get an ad from their amazon store for the same product with free shipping. then when i go back to the website, i get a 10% discount pop up for first purchase through their site. when i called them, the cust service rep tells me that even though the store is by Rhino Rack and is their site in detail when you click on their store, that it in fact is not them and they have to charge flat rate shipping no matter what. as if the .25 lb mounting brackets weren't marked up enough as it is, they also hit you with ridiculous shipping. oh, but they did offer a 10% discount code for the next purchase, how thoughtful of them...

My husband bought a rhino roof rack (xtray large) and it did not fit the car. Okay no problem. We put it neatly back in the box and went to return it and they said we have to pay ourselves. Ok expecting to pay no more than $50. It was $200-$600!!!! They know people wont pay it and they do not reimburse. Absolutely terrible policy. Customer support was meh but very unhelpful. They need to start offering free returns at least up to 30 days and then after that they can accept returns but wont cover costs. Its ridiculous and absolutely absurd to make customers pay the insane price for the products and then lost money if they dont fit. Terrible company, terrible business model, terrible policy!!!! CHANGE THE RETURN POLICY PLEASE for any unfortunate future customers!

Rhino Rack makes a cheap product - the rack is NOT easy to instal or remove from the roof. It is recommended that ski carriers do not stay on the roof rack while not in use, yet it requires screwing/unscrewing 8 individual screws to either install or remove the carriers. We have only used the ski rack twice, and there is already visible wear on the screws. I am not confident that they will last the season, let alone for years. I recommend paying a slightly higher price up front for literally any other brand to get a better, more intuitive product that will not fall apart with usual use.

If I could give a negative star I would. The customer service that ********************** provides is the worst I have ever dealt with. My bike actually BLEW off of the rhino rack on my truck . Apparently my shipment was missing a strap for extra security. the customer service department told me to call Amazon since I didnt have the bike properly secured. They didnt offer me the strap or any sort of compensation for the incident. I am out a Diamondback bike and could have been sued of the bike got any oncoming traffic and they told me to reach out to Amazon. What a joke! Never will I buy anything from them again. ********************* *********

Hi ******, I apologize for your experience with our customer service team. After reviewing your case and email chain, unfortunately, because the bike was not properly attached to our carrier using the retention strap, we were not able to proceed with a warranty claim. Our warranty terms state that any failures caused by inadequate maintenance or non-compliance to fitting instructions cannot be covered under warranty. (You can find our complete warranty terms here - *********************************************************).The instructions for this Hitch Mount Bike Carrier clearly states that the retention strap needs to be used to fix the bike(s) in place and provide additional safety in the event of a failure. (Instructions for the Hitch Mount Bike carrier can also be found on our website at this link - ***************************************************************************************************************)
I do understand that you did not receive the instructions nor the bike retention strap in your original package and your original shipment was damaged upon arrival. While this is a very unfortunate situation, Rhino Rack itself did not ship this package to you as this item was purchased on Amazon. Rhino Rack does not sell directly on Amazon nor does Rhino Rack ship products that have been sold on Amazon. Therefore, the responsibility falls on to the Amazon seller for this issue.
Additionally, regrettably, we do not carry those replacement retention straps in stock, so that was not something we would have been able to offer you.

Not thrilled with the ***************** For spending over $800 for a Roof Rack (Xtray Pro) I would expect the company to work with you a little with problems with mounting brackets. I went to reinstall the rack for the summer and noticed that I was missing a small piece of the mounting bracket. To make things simple, the mounting bracket is made up of 5 pieces. I was missing 1 of the 5 pieces. When i told the ** team, they said I would have to buy 4 new mounting brackets totaling over $130. Alright fine, Ill bite the bullet and do it. Then I go to finish the order and they charge me $25 for shipping. The pieces weigh maybe 3 lbs total and could fit in a tiny box or shipping envelope.... Then i found out the warehouse was 15 minutes from my house. ****** to aurora. I called to see if I could swing by and pick them up but they refused and charged me $25 for shipping to go across town. I understand that businesses need to make money but not working with me at all to fix this or offer free shipping. I was pretty disappointed. This is also coming from dealing with KUAT customer service that sent me over $250 of parts for my bike rack without question because they stand behind their product and they are AWESOME!. Rhino Rack not so much....

They promised a rebate - it's been 3 months, nothing. When you call the company that Rhinorack hired to send the rebates they never pick up the phone, never return voicemails or emails. When I called Rhinorack directly, they told me that now, after 3 months, they just now realized there was a communication issue with the company they hired to send out the rebates, and they have just now resolved it and the rebates SHOULD be going out in 2 weeks. Not acceptable! This will be four months after my purchase. They screwed up, the customer suffers and the VPs and CEO and whoever hired the rebate company and forgot to do their job after clearly don't care. They shouldn't promise rebates if they are too disorganized to figure out how to actually rebate the customer. Terrible company, do not trust them!

I purchased a roof rack, did not open it or install the product. Requested a return within the 30 day period and was turned down because the product is apparently not eligible for returns. No where on their website does it state roof racks are not eligible for return. Apparently they consider roof racks for cars... RV Systems. Go figure. Was willing to pay a restocking fee and pay shipping but was denied. Big companies like this should have zero problems taking returns regardless if the cross members needed to be cut. Stay clear of Rhino Racks...
