1 starI guess I must be naive. I didn't know a company could operate in this manner for all the world to see and be this much of a scam. My air conditioning unit went out and after a month they sent a contractor to my home and supposedly plugged the leak against the contractors recommendation and added freon which lasted all of five days. I told them I wanted the coils replaced and was told that since they were under warranty they would replace them if the warranty company didn't. since that company is located somewhere else I can't get in touch with them. I am a senior citizen with health issues and I can't live in this environment. It's their responsibility to get my unit working, that was our contract.Review fromNarlishwa L

1 starThis warranty company is TERRIBLE. They authorize bare minimum repairs which delays problem resolution and creates additional frustration for me as the customer. We will be ending our contract with these crooks as soon as we can.Review fromAndy F

1 starI called today for repair of my garage door. They had covered last year but state this not covered this year. No reason why they changed coverage from last years coverage and this renewal shows no changes. Was placed on hold for 30mins given no answers. Was told to call sales ***** Person there wouldnt answer any questions refused to tell me why I had changes and wouldnt identify any other changes. Refused to let me talk to someone to appeal. Then told me I would get a phone call later today. Guess what no phone call and Im sure I will not get a call. Their communications are not acceptable and then not able to help with problem solving. Will not renew this service and hopefully keep other potential customers earned and that this company loses businessReview fromShanna S

1 star**** Home Warranty is the worst company Ive ever done business with, to date. We had them out 10 months ago to repair the ice maker on our, at the time, 18 month old Kitchen-Aid refrigerator. They have since been out 13 times, every time failing to resolve the issue and only making things worse. Keep in mind, this means 13 half days of missed work because we have had to have someone here for every repair visit. We are now heading into our second week of a completely inoperable refrigerator and freezer, after losing hundreds of dollars worth of food, and they refuse to credit ** for the loss or a new unit. *** worked with several other home warranty companies in the past and this is the only one that refuses to make things right with their customers. They dont stand behind their service and their contracts are a massive waste of money. Under no circumstances do I recommend this company to anyone!Save your money and self-insure!Review fromSherrie C

1 starDo NOT switch to **** warranty. They have a 1.1 rating on ******* I would rate a zero! I have been going on a month without a working fridge and freezer. There is now mold regrowing in the fridge. I have asthma so I cant fool up with this and end up in the hospital. I have two children and all their escalation is still unsatisfactory. We moved into the home in September 2022. 9 days later we put in the first claim that we are still dealing with 3 claims later. It is deplorable and unacceptable. I already found warranty with Cinch since last month but it doesnt kick in until the end of this month else I would stop wasting my time with **** warranty. Nearly $1000 of wasted food and a $400 bottle of medication and Im told they could pay $199 for part and warranty and we still have to get another fridge. This is the absolute worst insurance. Look at Cinch or American Home Shield Warranty. **** warranty sucks! The customer service was great but their service is HORRIBLE!!!!ImReview fromGloria P

1 starWhen we first purchased our home in 2020, we began noticing many issues in our newly built home. Immediately we started the warranty claim process, we filed multiple claims as they would mark them complete without even coming to inspect them or contacting in regards to them. They fixed minor issues like our new floor had deep *************** bubbles. However throughout the entire house there was tiny little cracks in the walls/window frames, their response was these were minor issues & didn't need fixing. The step from the front door didn't have any concrete underneath, its hollow, every time we stepped the metal frame/step would bend, we filed many complaints, letting them know it was a safety/tripping hazard, they didnt fix that. We had large holes in our garage walls, they never fixed that. We notified them that the concrete by our front yard had massive cracks as if it the house was built long ago and concrete cracked over time, they never fixed that, their response was "don't water too much."There is two specific issues of major importance and they never fixed them. Even though the first claim was filed within the year of the warranty expiration. The house has a huge crack in the middle of the hallway by the entry way, it literally looks like the hallway is going to spilt in half & it gets bigger with time. After more claims, they sent out a technician to inspect the *************** promised to get back to us but they didn't & when you contact them, their response is usually "the guy who handles that isn't here, gives us your ************ contact you." Our home is also beginning to build up mold and cracks due to water coming in through the back door. It saddens us because our home is only 3 years old, it shouldnt be falling apart so soon or building up mold, because they didnt properly install things or even build the house properly in the first place which is out of their control but resolving issues weve made claims on is however their responsibility.Review fromAkrum Z

1 starWe have spent 5 weeks trying to have our refrigerator repaired. Terrible communicate. I have spent no less than ***** hours on calls or hold. We have stayed out of work 5 days to be home for servicers to come. They have sent 2 companies, 4 techs to our home. One Saturday we sat here all day and no one showed up. We work in real estate, that's a busy day for us. Each company as reported they cannot repair the fridge. One ordered parts but they didn't resolve the issues. **** keeps saying we must repair, yet no one can fix it. A tech spent well over an hour in front of us arguing with them last week. After agreeing to replace it we receive an email saying they want to repair it, or give us 536 dollars. This is a 3-4k fridge. I have spent ALL day today on hold and going back and forth with people. One guy said they are expediting the replacement. An hour later I get a call that they're sending yet another tech to repair, and we will receive a call as to when in a week or so. So another day out of work and we know it cannot be repaired. We have thrown out $600 worth of groceries after it completely breaking down *freezer included* 3 wks into this issue. We're a family of 8, I shop in bulk. It was an awful feeling to throw out so much food over a company disregarding their responsibility. We're having to eat out and make do over **** ignoring what these techs are saying. Just spoke to someone who said they are going to order more parts and try to revive the fridge. 5 hours of calls today and 7 days for them to decide to yet again to order parts that *** take a week or so to arrive and then they will send another tech. That will put us into almost 7 weeks of no refrigerator. **** must have removed owners and leadership for them to treat families this way. I guess they hope you will give up trying to get them to uphold their agreement and replace it yourself. As time consuming and maddening this as been I imagine this works in their favor.Review fromTim F

1 starI purchased a plan where my microwave had a $400 reimbursement for either a new microwave or that could go toward repairs. My microwave broke in January 2023, so I filed a claim. It took a month for the contractor to visit my home for a diagnosis. I chose the 'repair' route, paid a $75 service fee to them, and the contractor would order the parts to come back and repair my microwave. The contractors failed to repair my microwave on two subsequent visits, and then indicated later that 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty would provide the funds for a new microwave.I called 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty and they said because the funds went toward a repair, with only $35 left over, they would not be assisting any further. I asked for further clarification: If the contractor tries to repair the microwave with newly ordered parts and fails to do so, how does the insuring customer end up as being the one who takes the fall? This sounds like it should be a problem between 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty and the contractor.Apparently, when you try to repair an appliance you're literally taking a ****** on it because they will NOT ensure that your appliance is fixed or replaced if it fails to be fixed. You will NOT get reimbursed per the limit on your policy (in this case $400).I am also a customer who only had one other claim during my 3-year policy which was a pretty routine HVAC call. I am absolutely not a customer who has been costly to them.TL;DR: We're nearly 4 months in since a claim on a simple microwave and after multiple escalations over months of time I am stuck with a broken microwave and no results to show for it. They acknowledge this and say I'm out of luck essentially.
