      I had a overheating issue with my 2006 **** Explorer and was told that the engine was shot, a blown head gasket and cracked engine block. Cost of repair: $9,500.00. In actuality, there was a disconnected radiator hose. Cost of repair: a new hose clamp.I'm not sure what was going on here...were they trying to get me to pay an exorbitant price for repairs I didn't need, were they not wanting to service me so got rid of me by giving me a ridiculous estimate, or were they just a bunch of idiots? I vote for the bunch of idiots answer but regardless, I recommend you do NOT take your auto to to this bunch of clowns.

      As stated on your invoice we saw that the lower radiator hose was no connected properly and you engine was completely out of coolant. We reconnected the lower radiator hose and filled engine with coolant, engine started to over heat and engine oil smelled burnt. We performed a hydro-carbon test to see if engine was burning coolant internally and the test failed meaning engine has internal engine failure. The engine has ******* miles on it which means because of that you replace the motor instead of trying to repair and worn out motor. All out technicians our ***************, ASE certified technicians and our diagnostic was and is correct.

      I was extremely impressed with the obvious expertise exhibited by ***** at Express Auto Repair. I was also surprised and very pleased with the amount of detail provided in their service estimate which included thorough explanations of each item, and even had a photo of a damaged part underneath my own car!The service manager, *****, was so calm, kind and patient that I felt completely comfortable discussing my concerns with him and asking questions. I have never in my life had such a pleasant experience getting a car repaired.In addition to the excellence of their customer service, I was also impressed with the speed of their auto service. At 8:30 this morning I went to their website and scheduled an appointment for 10:00AM to check out why the car was occasionally squeaking. Everything was finished and I was on my way home before 1:00PM.In those 3 hours they set me up in their computer, performed their standard vehicle inspection and diagnostics, prepared a detailed estimate with photos, discussed everything with me, made some changes and provided another estimate, completed a brake fluid flush and replaced my front brake pads and rotors. Oh! And ***** even brought out the part from my car that was causing the squeaking and explained why it wouldn't happen anymore.Wow! Express Auto Repair is the best!
