I dropped my car for bodywork and pain last year and when I received it it was done poorly with bubbles in the paint and issues with the overall paint job. J *******, the owner said he would redo the paint himself and get it back to me. I told him o needed the car done by April 15 and he said no problem since he will have the car for two months to work on. When I had the car picked up it was not complete and in worse shape than when I dropped it off. The driver of the transport company called J ******* to make sure the car was car was at the right address and he told the driver it was. When the driver showed up J ******* told him it was not the place but somewhere else. This oral cord me another $50 in transportation fees. The car is not complete and missing some of the parts to make it complete.

I dropped a fender and door off with *** at the beginning of Febuary wo which he said it would be 2 weeks to complete the body work and paint. Since then, he has continuously ignored my calls, emails, and texts. His receptionist is very kind, and has been accepting my calls to which *** continues to give deadlines for finishing the work which then come and go with no work being performed. At this point I am unsure if I can trust him to complete the work in a satisfactory manner. Ideally, I would like to have my fender and door finished. But if this is beyond the realm of possibility, I would like my parts back, including the components he has already cut off. If no work is completed, I do not expect to pay any sort of bill.

Owners of cars and or parts are always welcome to pick them up at any point. I was not informed that ************** wanted to pick up his parts. I am sorry for the delays on getting the fabrication of fender done. We are slammed with insurance work that has to take priority due to rental car and insurance company issues.

As far as ignoring the customer... I am the owner and have management in place that is the contact for customers for the most part. AS ************** said... She is very nice. And to my knowledge has never given any reason to say otherwise.

There is a misunderstanding regarding the nature of the complaint. The complaint is not that it is taking a long time, the complaint is that the work is not being performed at all.

Even with the long wait, I would have been satisfied if they worked on my parts only once a week,  or even once a month, if there had been progress or updates. I did not expect my job to be kicked aside indefinitely in favor of more important work. I do not understand the charade of giving definite deadlines with no intention of meeting them.

Once I started calling daily in May, I began to be given hard deadlines to which the work would be finished. The deadlines would come and go, and they reason I was given was that they just didn't do it. ****** has told me more than once that she is very embarrassed to have to keep giving me dates only to have me call on that day with nothing to give.

In effect, that is being said is that my work, which was accepted and a price agreed upon, is so insignificant compared to the existing work load that it can be postponed indefinitely. When I entered into the transaction, nothing was said about how my job would only be worked on only if there was no other work. I was told it would be a few weeks and I had that expectation. It seems that there is an attempt to portray me as impatient and unreasonable, when in fact all I am doing is expecting results by the date I was told I could expect them.

I am willing to still go forward with this only if I can be provided with a accurate deadline for when it will be done. If it can't be done by that time, I would my parts back along with the ***** parts that have been removed.

The project is being worked on. And I did not say it was insignificant. I said that insurance work has to take precedence due to the nature of insurance companies and their deadlines. We can have this done by Aug 7th

I spoke with ****** today and we agreed to give the transaction until August 14th at 4pm. At that time I will pick up the parts finished not not.
