On July 3, 2022 I took my **** Chevrolet Trailblazer in to have a new starter and flywheel installed. the transmission had to be taken out to do the flywheel. they called and recommended a transmission flush which i said i would do the following month. i asked them if it would be ok to wait to which they said it would be fine. i picked my truck up on Jjuly 6th and did not drive 7 miles before it was smoking like someone had blown up the engine. i called them and they said is it leaking. i said it doesn't have any leaks it was looked at by 3 other mechanics before i brought it to them and they said "oh really" well don't drive it but bring it back! which i couldn't do since i just paid them $1,295.00 to fix my truck. since then i took it to express auto to have them fix what the last place couldn't and they told me my transmission didn't even go to my truck it had been replaced and this transmission was absolutely shot. I would need a new one which was $5,000 to$ *****. i have tried to call them to ask them what happened to my transmission and i never get anyone and cannot ;eave a message and their mailbox is always full. i have disputed part of the charge with my bank($950.00) as i had to split the payment I cannot dispute the entire charge. I'm disputing this because they should have not done anything if my car was never going to run again anyhow. these people straight up robbed me and now wont do anything. I had to scrap my truck because of this so now I'm out of a car and $1,295. I need to file this complaint as i do not think these types of people should be accredited when they behave this way.

I am rejecting this response because:
I had a new shop look at this they advised me that the transmission had been replaced with a transmission that did not even belong in this truck. I have all the service records and it's never had a transmission replacement so , what happened to the original one sold with it? And why would they recommend a transmission flush if the transmission was completely shot and was never going to run again. There's no way they drove it many times or they would have seen it smoking and leaking everywhere! Prior to bringing it to them Aspen auto clinic and Quality tech automotive had looked at it and neither of them said it was the wrong transmission or that the one in it needed work or was done. I believe they either took my transmission and replaced it or did something to cause more repairs to be needed. Either way why would a Transmission shop specializing in transmission repairs not recommended repairs or replacement of it only needed a flush. I have their receipt and all the records going back to the sales lot stickers and their recommendation was a flush. I specifically asked can I wait until next month since I'm giving them everything I had already. He said and I quote " it can wait till next month (meaning July) and said if they did it right then it would be $188.00 if I waited it would be $249.00. No where in this conversation did he say it's a waste of time to replace the starter and flexplate because it's not going to run anyhow. I picked it up the same day and before I could even get my keys I had to sign the completion receipt which is ridiculous since as soon as I got my keys I realized my truck had also been robbed while waiting to be looked at. I asked them about that they said"well how you see it is how we got it " I left and within 7 miles my truck was smoking. I called and asked what they did to my truck he immediately said "is it leaking?" I told him it had just been serviced and has no leaks he said "oh really" I looked under the vehicle and it's pouring like a literal faucet I told him when I brought it to you it was fine only needed a starter, he said "don't drive it but, bring it back"! I told him I couldn't do that because of course they'd raised the price after I had it towed in and I didn't trust them at this point. Besides the fact that they could have offered any assistance to me when I called and told him I was stuck on the side of the road but, he didn't care and I as I said how could I trust him after all the nonsense. On August 3rd when I got my disability income I took to express auto shop where they informed me "This transmission does Not go with this truck. He said it's been recently removed". I told him what happened with the trans tech people and he said I don't want to say that they stole it but this definitely doesn't belong in this truck. Now with a transmission shop shouldn't they have noticed this and perhaps recommended a different service plan instead they replaced itema that should have Never been worked on if they didn't steal my transmission then how did they not notice that it had the wrong transmission in it? This is absolutely ridiculous and if I have to hire an attorney to rectify this matter then just let me know. Because no one should be robbing people like that and this isn't the first time just peruse their review page. Honestly I have no idea why they thought it would be smart to repair a truck that wasn't going to run! I think at the very least they ought to refund my money being they've cost me an entire truck due to this unexplainable situation. So please have them explain why they never once mentioned anything with the transmission other than a flush? How did they not see that it was the wrong transmission if they're not the people who took the original one? And if you need me to bring in everything I have on this truck from the window sales slip to the last thing ever worked on it please let me know I can bring it to you along with their receipt recommending it be flushed not replaced or repaired and maybe you can figure out what happened to my original transmission!
    Sincerely,
