On November 15, 2024 I gave this company a 50% deposit to schedule an appointment to fix my heater. They scheduled the repair work for November 29th. No one showed up for the appointment. I called them and asked for my deposit back because they didn't even have me on their schedule calendar. "Oh, something must have gone wrong scheduling your appointment."They refuse to refund my deposit since I've lost faith in them and have contracted with another **** company.

    To whom it may concern:

Thank you for contacting Absolute Electrical on my behalf. The issue with them is now much more devastating than merely failing to show up for an appointment and not refunding my deposit.

*** style="color: black; margin-left: 0in;">I gave Absolute Electrical my credit card information in order to make the $760 deposit. *** style="color: black; margin-left: 0in;">They then sold it or forwarded it to ANOTHER electrical company, (illegal to do so) *** style="color: black; margin-left: 0in;">And then the other electrical company charged my card (also illegal since I never gave them my card or authorized them to use ****************

This is why Absolute Electrical couldnt refund my deposit when I contacted them they had to convince Welzig Electrical to do the refund.

Ive contacted ***** ***************, the *** and ************ and Boulder County Sheriffs offices and am asking for both companies to be prosecuted for theft and bank fraud.

I can see that on 11/14/2024 a deposit of $763.50 was taken by our tech and paid with a **** card.

And on 12/02/2024 we refunded the $763.50

I'm not sure what else I can provide for you with this.

Location:******************************************************************* Our AC was not cooling efficiently. We called Absolute Electrical, Heating and Air for a repair. The technician, *********************, came on 9/5/23. He stated that we needed a part replaced in the outdoor unit ($1012.61), as well as cleaning the coils (don't remember price for the coils), and repairing a drain ($800). My husband, ************************* told him to replace the part, which **** said would get the unit working. We paid $1012 to have the part replaced. The repair took about 30 minutes. On saturday 9/16/23, the furnace unit was leaking, and we had another servcie person out to the house. He said that the part that was replaced was $20, and it did not fix the problem. He also said that it looked like the cover to the coils had never been removed.I reported this to the business on Sunday (9/17/23), and was told that a manager would call me on Monday. I heard nothing. I called back today (9/19/23), left a message, which I was told would be delivered right away. Again, I have not heard back. This company is scamming customers.

    Hello BBB,

We apologize for the delay in responding via BBB, but did communicate with the customer at length (11 minutes) on September 20th to better understand and resolve the issue. While we stand behind our services and pricing, which pricing alone is the complaint in this case (our pricing is standardized based on tasks to cover all elements of the business, provide fast and exceptional customer service, and provide some of ******** best warranties), we decided that the only amenable solution was to refund $762.61 to make the grand total to $250 (our material cost alone was nearly $250 and therefore does not cover labor, overhead, warranty coverage, etc).

Both ******* & ******* were amenable to this solution, so we hope this issue is resolved. I've attached the refund.
