Pattern of Complaints
BBB files indicate a pattern of consumer complaints filed against this business. Consumers primarily report concerns regarding delivery, billing, refund, advertising, product and customer service issues. Regarding delivery and billing issues, consumers allege being charged for a product that never arrives. Similarly, consumers allege that refunds that are promised are never received. Further, consumers allege that orders are advertised as being shipped within 2-3 days. Regarding product issues, consumers that are a part of the business’s “Ambassador Program” claim that they are unable to purchase products due to the website being down. Lastly, consumers allege that customer service offers limited responses via phone or email and makes guarantees of shipments and refunds that are not adhered to.
On November 13, 2019 BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. On December 16, 2019, the business responded by outlining the issues confronting the industry including banking regulation issues which contributed to the delayed shipments that consumers were experiencing. The business also noted that since this incident the business has, “worked to secure more funding in order to keep more product inventory in stock,” and “has worked with three different banks to secure long term merchant processing.”
As of January 30, 2020, the business has not responded to BBB’s request to address what steps are being taken to combat the ongoing uncertainty in the industry and have not provided a plan of action regarding what steps are being taken to ensure that consumers are properly communicated with regarding the status of orders and difficulties effecting the industry that may in turn effect the consumer.
