As of January 13, 2022, Better Business Bureau has received sixteen Scam Tracker reports and one complaint from consumers alleging they were hired by Mango Group Logistics US LLC and never received payment. Consumers allege they were either contacted by Mango Group through email or through Indeed.com to interview for a Package Inspector Remote Work position.  Consumers state the hiring process included links to Mango Group’s website to research the company and job, a phone interview, job application and tax forms. In one report, a consumer was asked to upload a picture of his driver’s license as well as a picture of himself holding his driver’s license. Mango Group also had documents signed with e-signatures. Once hired, Mango Group’s Accounting department reached out requesting the consumer’s banking information in promises to directly deposit paychecks.   

Consumers allege Mango Group presented themselves as an international shipping company. When consumers performed an online search for Mango Group Logistics, they found a company with the same name in the United Kingdom which made this company seem legitimate. Once hired, consumers were sent packages to their home address. The consumer was expected to inspect the contents of the package for breaks or tears and then repackage the item and label it with a new address found in the Mango Group's online dashboard. Once the package was relabeled, the consumer was tasked with uploading a picture of the product as well as the receipt from UPS, Fed Ex or USPS.  After the pictures were uploaded, the consumer then shipped the package via UPS, Fed Ex or USPS to the location provided in the dashboard. Base pay was offered at $2400 per month plus a $45 bonus for every package shipped. An extra $100 was promised for each packaged received or picked up. Consumers believed they would be paid about $3500 per month after 30 days.  After thirty days passed, consumers were not paid and were locked out of Mango Group’s website dashboard.  When consumers attempted to contact Mango Group, they could not reach anyone. 

One consumer reported she was contacted by police who advised her the item shipped to her was purchased with a stolen credit card. This consumer was also able to contact the person whose information was on another package she received and found this person verified she was not expecting a package and her credit card was stolen as well. BBB found that Mango Group registered as a business through Northwest Registered Agents with the State of Colorado Secretary of State in May of 2022. The owner of Mango Group is not disclosed.  BBB also verified that Mango Group is not located at the advertised address, 4985 Colorado Blvd Unit 7, Denver CO 80216. There is no Unit 7 at this address. At the time of BBB’s investigation, BBB was not able to review the website or find other listings. The people behind this operation may have changed their business name.
