      This is a terrible service. I had surgery done an hour and a half from my home November. After six people passed away in a 5-month period it left me with no one to drive me back and forth from surgery. This company left me stranded with no one to call no one to help and animals at home with no food or able to be walked. It cost me over $100 to get a ride home hours waiting. The hospital didn't even want to release me because I didn't have a ride. Again this year I had surgery and no one to drive me back and forth. I made sure to explain what they did to me last time and the lady assured me that they were a better better service. She explained that no matter what time I call for a pickup they will pick me up even if the office is closed. That was a lie as I was just stranded again at a hospital 45 minutes from my house. I had to take a taxi cab home today because this service left me stranded for the second time after surgery. I have three surgeries coming up before December and there's no way I can use a service that leaves you stranded with no one to call and do not care about complaints. I highly recommend to stay away from this service as they will leave you stranded and not care about you or your safety. I found out all these people do is call Uber. That service in its own is unreliable and the reason why I would not use them for medical needs. If I wanted Uber I would have called Uber. Stay away from these people if you don't want to get stranded away from home with nothing on you but ID and insurance card.

      This is the ************* ever. It's very disheartening that elderly people are mistreated and left stranded for hours and when you call to rectify the issue you're met with disrespect and broken promises. They have an option for Lyft but whenever the trips are scheduled they cancel that ride and give transportation that is unreliable

      Worst possible transportation company. Phone app doesn't work. Web site crashes EVERY day during business hours - impossible to make a reservation. Customer disservice agents argue constantly instead of fixing problems. Humana should be ashamed of scuttling their previous transportation service to rely on Lyft/Uber/taxis which often have people who only speak Spanish - not much help if you're going to a medical appointment and you need to direct the driver where to go. So, unless you're a bilingual customer, good luck. **************** agents - occasionally there is one who knows what s/he is doing but mostly they just repeat a script and can't do anything. Uber drivers NEVER show up - EVER. Hopeless. If I could leave a negative infinite number of stars, I would.

      I seriously despise this company...I've tried to set up transportation 3 or 4 different times for the same appointment for my son to go to his dentist appointment...they never picked us up yet when you call to confirm your transportation with them the trip is active and nobody shows up the next day...I should have learned my ****** the first 2 times they've done me like this ..and my son was desperately needing to go to these appointments too...this makes my blood boil I don't understand why they are still in business..this is getting out of hand..and I only gave a one star review because I had to leave something..they don't even deserve one star

      Very frustrating to deal with. Drivers are always very late or no show causing havoc with important medical appointments. Constant errors with puck-ip locations. impossible to contact driver. App and website to book trips constantly broken.

      Atrocious! Don't even waste your time. They have not shown up for me most of the time. I have missed appointments because of them, gotten fined or banned from some medical practitioners because of them and, worst of all, their chaos may cost me my disability case because it looks like I just go to appointments when I feel like it. I finally did a ****** search on them and OMG!! What I saw there caused me to come here. I wish I could give a zero rating.

      I have been late for appointments or the car never comes!!! This has happened to me at least 6 times. The last ride picked up another person and caused me to be an hour late for my appointment. Please do something about this! Also get rid of **** or at least give us customers a CHOICE whether to proceed with **** or speak to an agent. Reason for this is because I as well as probably thousands of others need to make a separate request like for a different car service or special accommodations for those will disabilities. I have to live through **** for 15 minutes before I can get to a person. I am totally frustrated by this! Give us a CHOICE!

      This company has a duty to reimburse patients which must travel long distances to receive care when a locally available doctor does not exist as is the case in many smaller towns. This company from the start was incapable at providing me the necessary forms/ trip travel logs with (weeks) of advanced notice of an upcoming Drs. appt. This is because they had to "send them to me in mail" << what a joke it's 2023 and we all have computers and email, but not these guys because they only accept STONE-AGE FAXES or sent copys! The only reason for this is because they are intentionally trying to make the process as difficult as possible PERIOD. They eventually sent the forms I requested weeks prior which I received WEEKS AFTER THE ***** Usually the people you reach by phone are pleasant enough but the results are 180 degrees from the conversation! Since I did NOT have the forms at the time of my appointment I had to now send those forms to the doctors office by mail. ***** later they were signed off on and then placed in the mail to be sent back to me. Next the for Mileage reimbursement logs were sent to Modivcare, or as I like to call them MODIVCARELESS! The address they were sent to was as follows on "their" forms. Modivcare *********** *************************., 4th Floor ******, ** *****. YOU KNOW IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF YOU WOULD HAVE CONTACTED ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM IN PROCESSING MY REQUEST, BUT NO JUST DEAD SILENCE FROM MODIVCARELESS. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company for anything other than toilet paper, and if you are considering using this company as as a solution like BCBS put them to the test and see how well they keep their word before doing ANY BUSINESS with them. In my Experience they are "ABSOLUTE GARBAGE" as they smile and say they'll fix it to your face! NOPE, NATA, NO on MODIVCARELESS!

      My review won't be different from others' reviews. To begin with, their phone system is horrid! It was recently updated, and it still *****. Employees are quite used to hearing rants about ****. I have cried in frustration so many times. Seriously. I've cried over trying to get through to a human to make appointments. I have had a few reps I've actually spoken with a few times who've made a difference, and for me, the service has been extremely reliable. This is MEDICAL transportation, but they do NOT have a non-smoking policy in place! This is astounding to me! I have repeatedly asked for a non-smoker, and their favorite phrase is: "I'll notate that on your account". Well, it's been notated, and it still keeps happening. After filing yet another grievance with my insurance, a rep called me. She actually told me to call in and complain/let them know if a car was DIRTY. That is more important than our health! Incredible! More issues: employees all need to know and follow the same rules. The texting is excessive and sometimes incorrect. They treat you like a child (having Uber call you when they arrive), and their "15 minutes before or after your requested time" policy is infuriating! Why should I ever have to leave a medical appointment early because a car has shown up?! It isn't as if I've gone to the mall, and they just happen to arrive. I use this service mainly for PT, and don't appreciate texts and phone calls interrupting my appointment! Lastly, they literally lie. In response to a grievance, my insurance sent me a letter. They investigated, and Modivcare actually said they had not received any phone calls associated w/ the number listed. It's my only number, and I've been using the service for almost a YEAR. All the other stuff is one thing. Lying is another!!! Their system is so wretched. Honestly, it takes reps forever to do simple things. Also, "what state are you calling from?" Really? I just verified everything! If I could switch, I would.#makemaragoaway

      Like the vast majority of other contributors to Modivcare reviews here, my experience with Modivcare has been mind-bogglingly negative. It is incredible that Modivcare remains in operation, as it is about the most DYSFUNCTIONAL "business" I have ever dealt with. I just want to share, having spent too many of my dwindling hours dealing with Modivcare, that the most IMPACTFUL thing we as the "consumer" are able to do is complain directly to our State Ombudsman. The State is who contracts with Modivcare, and that is directly where complaints should be delivered. Like others here, I wish I could leave a -0 star rating because that is what Modivcare is worthy of.
