Applewood is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They were at my home from 5:15 pm until 11:30. They replaced 2 parts that didnt fix my air conditioner. They charged me $1193.04. When I called to talk about the charges ************************* up on me. ******** said all of the technicians were fully trained and certified. I asked to see the certificate of training and certification, ******** said she had never been asked for them. If the tech was trained why was he on the phone at least twice and why did it take that long to find the safety switch that had tripped to keep the unit from coming back on and doing more damage, it just needed to be reset. They charged me $566.85 for a part the tech said was ok but replaced it anyway. The tech used my water to hose off the outside of the unit and said that should fix it, they charged me $428.19 for that.. I am 77 years old and on a fixed income, my bed time is 9:30, I asked him twice to come back the next day and he said he was going to finish. I asked to talk to anyone else and was told that ******** was the only person that I could talk to. I will never do business with applewood again.

I have tried to contact you several times to talk about your service only to get a recorded message, I left a message. No one called back. if I could leave another message with. BBB I would and it would be not a nice one either. The remarks from my neighbor **** (over 100) had nothing good to say about applewood. I would think you and your company would change your way of doing business to try and get a better profile instead of abusing people for the all mighty $.Review fromLinda Nicholas

I am 77 years old on a fixed income. ******** said she was the only person that I could talk with. They charged me $466.85 for 1 part that their tech said was ok but replaced it anyway. ******** said they would reimburse 20% which is $220.00.I asked to see the certification and training that she claimed the tech had received. ******** said she had never been asked for them before. I asked to speak to her manager and was told she didnt have one she is the only person that I could talk to. If the tech was trained why was he on the phone at least twice before they figured out it was a safety switch that turned off my unit. All they needed to do was reset that switch. The tech said my unit needed to be cleaned. They charged me $428.19 to use my water to hose off the outside of my air conditioner. Thank you for letting me post this review.Review fromNick C.

1 starOur garbage disposal quit working and had to be replaced, so we contacted Applewood Plumbing on 8/24/22 and they came out the next morning. The technician gave us a quote to replace the disposal, and to our shock, he quoted that it would be $2,100.00!! My husband refused their bid knowing that this was an outrageous amount. We still had to pay them $29.00 for the privilege of them quoting us this ridiculous estimate. We called another plumbing company, and got a replacement part plus installation for $337.00, with guarantee on parts and labor included. So we were able to get a brand new garbage disposal at less than 1/7th the cost of what Applewood quoted us! We called them back to ask for a refund on the $29.00 that we paid them, but the manager refused stating that the quote they gave us was justified and reasonable, considering that their company provides health insurance and that they employ more plummers than anyone else in CO. So in order to help this company pay for their employees health insurance, we should accept to pay 7 times what it should normally cost for this kind of job??! This is larcenous, and someone should be investigating them for their predatory pricing!!Review fromJim D
