Were very pleased. Realized we had neglected the furnace it was wonderful to have someone come so quickly (about 2 hours). Didnt ask for a rush. **** was very clear, easy to understand and got everything fixed up in short order. A real rip off. We now have the most expensive hot water heater in ********. Applewood Plumbing should be embarrassed, but as with a lot of folks profit over honesty. ***** this companyApplewood Plumbing Heating & Electric

We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the cost of your water heater installation. It appears our technician provided you a couple of estimates for options, and you elected to go with the 50 gallon hot water heater with an 18-year, 100% parts and labor warranty. Upon further review, our technician also provided a quote for the same 50 gallon hot water heater, with a 10-year, 100% parts and labor warranty, at a lower cost, however, you elected for the 18-year warranty option. It is the responsibility of a home owner to do their due diligence and obtain multiple quotes for work from different companies if they are concerned about skills, services, value and cost differences between businesses. This research would typically be completed prior to authorizing a company to complete any work at the home, to ensure they are the best choice to meet your expectations, needs and financial budget.
We do have 3 signatures on file, the first verifies the technician went over the estimate with you and you authorized the cost. The second signature is authorization to begin the work, and the third and final was obtained at the end of the job, to verify the work was completed and you authorized payment. As such, it appears that you were provided the total cost up front, before any work was started, and you authorized that work to be completed for you, while knowing the price in advance.
