Terrible customer service i was a customer for over 2.5 yrs . I was told I rented movies for over ****** I was told I never rented any movies in 2.5 yrs . I was told they would take ***** a month off my bill to take care of that and that never happened. I'm now being told I owe them ****** which they have turned to collection. I canceled my subscription and told them I would never recommend them to anyone. No wonder their in financial straights I will be reporting them to the ***

Because I was moving to assisted living, I cancelled service in november 2024 and paid what I was told was my final bill. Now in January I have received a bill from them and told I had never cancelled the service. I believe Dish dropped the ball and now wants me to pay for a service I cancelled 2 months ago.

My plan had ended, and I called Dish to cancel in order to save money. The agent I spoke to got me a decent deal price wise, and he also told me that he would take care of my ******* subscription for two years, so I took the deal. The problem is that when I was billed, the amount wasn't what I had agreed to and ******* still charged me. When I called, they told me they would review my account and get back to me. They finally contacted me a few days later and I had to argue to get the price I was quoted the first time around. I was told that there was nothing in my account indicating that they would cover *******. The man I spoke to clearly told me that Dish would take care of that for me, but now they won't honor that. I am in my 70's. I don't have the money to be paying extra for things, especially when I was told I wouldn't have to. I would never have renewed my contract with them if I had known they were lying to me in order to get more money out of me. I cannot cancel the contract unless I come up with the money to cover the penalty for canceling early. Dish is playing dirty and taking advantage of people.

We had Dish at our vacation home for a few years. They mounted our dish on a roting tree *****. I called them over the years to remove the dish and put it on a pole. They would always tell me that it would be a couple of months in the middle of the week when we were not there. I cannot tell you how many times I was hung up on. Eventually the rotted ***** gave way and the dish fell and was ruined. Called several times requesting them to make it right surprise 2 months out to replace the dish after an exchange of words I was hung up on. I called back and cancelled and for the first time I spoke to an English speaking person. They tried so hard to keep our service even telling me they would credit for the trouble and come out to put the dish on a pole when we were there. I still cancelled was told a box would be shipped to me to return the 2 receivers & remotes it had to be returned to them in 2 weeks or I would be charged $800 for the equipment. Surprise 2 weeks past and I did not receive the box. Called again this time they shipped it. They wanted me to pay a prorated amount over the phone. I advised I would pay when I received my final bill. Surprise they billed me until the equipment was returned not the date I requested. When I received my final bill I called and tried to pay it on their automated system it said the account was closed and payment was pending. Later that day I relieved a voicemail telling me they were a collection agency for Dish. I called dish back and was told my payment was pending checked my bank account and they took money out of my account without speaking to me for approval. ( I did not have autopay set up) i do not think that is even legal and how can you send someone to collections before they get their final bill. So I called the collection agency back they said they did not do it I called dish back they deny it also, after 5 calls to dish they finally gave me a confirmation number. Beware bad service ruin your credit when you cancel.

If you choose to get a paper bill from Dish, they do not leave you enough time to get the bill, write a check, and mail it back to them without incurring a late fee. I received my bill in the mail today, 12/31/24. My bill is due on 1/02/24. The bill creation date was 12/18/24. I feel they are pushing me to pay another way, and forcing me to give them money using automation, rather than paying by mail. I believe, how I pay Dish is my prerogative. However, I need enough time before the due date to make the payment by mail, allowing their billing by mail system for a turnaround time of at least 7-10 days through the mail using the postal service after the customer receives the invoice.I would like the BBB and the **** system to make Dish to accept to allow for a longer due date. There is no way someone can send a payment through the postal service in 2-5 days without the likelihood of a late payment fee charged to the customer

DISH Network has the worst possible service when you want to cancel an account and they do everything in their power to ignore your requests, prevent you from cancelling and by making it as inconvenient as possible. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO DISH UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

I switched to Dish Network 2 years ago and was promised a 3-year price guarantee with a 2-year commitment. I still have the paper with the approval code and promotion. After the 2 years, they increased my bill by $40. I just spent one and a half hours on the phone with an agent. The only thing he could do was give me a $25 discount on the price increase. If I had not kept the 2-year commitment, I would have been charged money. But if they don't, they are okay??? How can I trust them? I just wanted them to keep their part of the contract.

Dish network is a subpar network. We have lost service so many times I have lost count and yet we are charged full price every month. **************** is not in the *************. Barely understandable. Not worth the headaches. Not even worth one star.

The worst company ever. They get you into a 2 year contract and than your service goes out within a couple months and it takes several calls to get a service tech out to resolve the issue. The only way for them to resolve issues is send a tech out that takes days. There is no way out of the contract unless you pay them several hundred dollars. This should be against the law.
