      9/24 Hired said moving company to move my property from one location to another. During the move I was instructed by a member of the moving team to place my jewelry box in the bottom drawer of my night stand. I was told it would be safe, it would be wrapped in the drawer and placed on the the truck. The first night of the move the furniture arrived wrapped and without damage. Upon unwrapping both identical night stands the jewelry box was missing. I immediately contacted the phone number given to me to report the missing item. I was then contacted back by the mover who was present and he stated ***** did not recall seeing the jewelry box or telling me to place it in the drawer. The next day the same crew returned to finish the move. I spoke with ***** face to face, he again denied it. I specifically recall him stating "you put here, I wrap, it safe." I questioned him numerous times and he assured me that it would be safe. He denied making any of the statements and asked me what I had one with it. I again explained "I put it in the drawer you told me to put it in, you said it would be safe, you would wrap it and the nightstand would go on the truck." After going through every box and piece of furniture in the home I was unable to locate my jewelry box with family heirlooms. I have made numerous attempts to contact the company to get the information to file a claim. Nobody has called back or answered my voicemails. My husband has attempted to call. The detective on the case (I was told that I had to file a police report by the movers on the final day to file a claim) has called and they will not return his call. I finally spoke to someone the night of the 10/31 and they would not give me the information to file a claim. I was told "they said they didn't have it so there is no claim." It was present before the move and untouched, following the move it was missing and unaccounted for after they packed it. I simply need the insurance information to file the claim..
