Like most everyone that lives in the United States, we get our mail through the ***** On October 19th, I was expecting a black envelope package show up in my mail. I received the notice in an email from the **** that it was delivered. When I checked my box the next day, it wasn't there. I filed for lost mail with the ***** No one contacted me and the only email I received was that because I didn't have insurance on the item they wouldn't look no further. I even filed a complaint with the *** of the **** and was told after they reviewed my complaint they referred me to **** Consumer and Industry Contact Office. They said they would contact me and yet I have heard nothing. The **** doesn't care about the customer if they do not place insurance on an item but they always tell me that there is $100 of insurance already attached to the package when I mail my packages. I have attached my initial find my lost mail and the email I sent to the ***. When I didn't hear from **** Consumer and Industry Contact Office I attempted to contact the *** through the same email link but received a notice that I have been blocked. I did call my local post office and spoke to the femal post master but she told me she knew nothing about it. The post office has no concerns of there customers lost packages.
