    My name is ****** ******** , I'm 22 years old. I have been saving so I could buy a good working car to get back and forth to work hour out of greeley co. I went to ALs detailing sales 23297th ave in greeley co 80631. On may 15 2024. I walking in to this Als looked at car. And decided to put 1 000 $ down on a 2014 white Ford Explorer they asked for 18,000 for it. So I gave them 1,000 On my way home the car started smoking..they said take back Tommrow on the 16th of May i took it back So on the 23rd of May the car was fi x and ready to get picked up.i want for it drove down the streets and the car just stop at an intersection. So some people help me push this time the shop was already closed and it was Memorial day weekend .so I leave it at 7 11. We'll on Monday I went to go get the car. And the car had gotten towed to aurora co. I had to pay 500.00 to get it back in my possession. So on Tuesday 27th of May I called Als and told thethem to come get the car because I couldn't deal with all of this. I have been depressed having anxiety with all of this. They came got the car. I asked fir my money back and he said no . And he knows if I take him to court he will win he said he always does and I young and didn't know nothing. I just said okay well thank you have a nice day
    And hung up the phone. And I called the warrant on the car and they can help me either so now I have no car no money and that on my credit report. And was so hoping to buy a house in the coming year. With all of this it's been alot missed alit if work because of all this. I just want the 1000 I put down on the car or the report off my credit. Thank you for listening to my complaint and I would like for this to be resolved and for me to move forward in my life journey cyz right now I'm do sad and depressed and disappointed in myself for letting thus person take my hard working money from me .     We are sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with the
    resolutions we previously offered. By law, we were not responsible for making
    any repairs to your vehicle, or any vehicle we sell, as we sell all vehicles
    as-is.  When you informed us of the initial
    issue, we had you bring the vehicle back in. We offered to work with you on
    getting into a new vehicle or to keep the explorer and wait for repairs to be
    made. You chose to wait for repairs to be made. We determined the issue was a
    bad turbo, which was replaced at no cost to you. We test drove the vehicle and
    the issue appeared to be repaired. When you informed us that the vehicle was
    having issues again, we told you to bring it back and we would look at it again
    and make more repairs. We never received the vehicle back to diagnose it and
    make more repairs. Unfortunately, we could not look at or repair the vehicle
    without your cooperation. As for the $500 you paid to get the vehicle back into
    you possession after it was towed, we have nothing to do with that. We have no
    control over another business having your vehicle towed or what the impound
    yard charges to release the vehicle back to you. We are unsure of who you
    called or who you released your vehicle to, but we do not have your vehicle in
    out possession at this time. Currently, we are no longer offering a resolution as
    we have already tried to work with you in the past and we do not take kindly to
    the threats coming from you and your family.

    When I had called about the second time it being messed up all I wanted was my money back you refused. So then I had to take matters into my own hands and see if the warranty we paid extra for would help me which they didn’t I didn’t have the car for a full day on both times and both times it failed me. The mileages are still the same from when we had got the vehicle. When I called the third time you said you weren’t going to be able to pay for a new motor because I had got a dignosis from a mechanic and they said it was the motor you said you couldn’t pay that much money and asked if I could which is absurd especially with what I have been going through with a vehicle YOU sold to me.

    The last time we spoke we were willing to look at the vehicle and still try to help you out. You never brought the vehicle back for our mechanic to look at it. We were never at any point unwilling to work with you. We cannot diagnose or make any repairs without the vehicle in our possession. We've attached two of the as-is documents you signed. Even with these signed documents we were still willing to help you out. It was your choice not to accept what we offered. Again, at this time, we are not offering a resolution.

    I am rejecting this response because: Being a business owner and trying to make things right for the customer is no where found at this business. After getting the vehicle for 1 day obviously the repair wasn’t fixed and blew the motor. And not giving my money back when requested is also not acceptable. And I have no idea what “threat” your are speaking of. If taking you to court is a threat to you then maybe you should be running a better business and not selling useless cars. After I had called the 3rd time which I have records of. The only help you wanted to give me was to look at the vehicle. Which I didn’t feel comfortable will because not only did your mechanic “fix” the issues he caused another one to blow out the motor, which I will also be taking the warranty to sold us to curt as well because in my documents says if anything major happens etc, if the motor gives out they would pay for the repairs. Which they did not. Hopefully you guys can take this into being a lesson not to sell cars to that don’t even work. I had to miss work, had to get uber rides which are not expensive, because of this vehicle you sold to me. Not only has this situation put me in a financial distress, but has put me in stress and that’s just not ok.
