      We are a *********************** and 3 years ago we were told by our HR ***** that Empower bought out our Mass Mutual Retirement 401K accounts. Granted this was a troublesome time in our Political and Economic Forum but it has been 3 years and everyone's 401K is still losing money.I am convinced that Empower is involved in security frauds. It is virtually impossible to contribute $1000 a month into a non-aggressive retirement plan and consistently lose twice that amount without raising serious ethical flags. Their advisors are terrible and offer no help whatsoever but are quick to take their fees. There is no way I will accept that the market is so bad that no one is making money trading stocks and bonds. Empower Advisors offer no solid solution beyond "wait and see" or "increase your contribution %". Its BS Smoke screening and its old.Does anyone know a good security frauds Lawyer? Please forward their information as I have had enough of this bad investing advice. Seeing all 212 reviews at only One Star is ample evidence of unethical practice by Empower and unsatisfied customers.

      I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They are corporate crooks with a business plan presented through “smoke and mirrors.”
      Communicating with them is next to impossible. I have been trying to get ahold of them for a month now about a job change/withdraw. In order to communicate you have to book an appointment for a phone interview, which is at least 1 to 2 weeks later. If you miss that appointment there is no calling them back even a minute after the appointment, you’ll just go to voicemail. Your messages will go without response unless you schedule another appointment.
      They make it very difficult to work with regarding anything other than contributions.
      BLUF- Put your money in a mattress or a cookie jar. Using this company is a waste of time and will cost you way more than it’s worth.

      This company transferred my 401k to the wrong account in a different company when my new 401k is with them. Incompetent would be putting it nicely

      The agent was so unhelpful. Why would they assume I am familiar with the entire Empower website and all their processes? They seemed so impatient to disconnect the call it was frustrating to get my questions answered. Glad I'm leaving Empower and rolling over all my funds to ******

      Horrible company "zero" rating they have hijacked my account. It has been almost 2 months and I still can't access my account after fraudulent activity was detected. Multiple calls to them and they say they are still under review. I will close my account as soon as I can get access to it, which is probably why they won't give me access! I did not choose this company as my 401K was transferred from Fidelity. Buyer beware and do not use them.

      Absolutely the worst company to deal with. I signed up with them through my employer, when I moved on to another job they received notice immediately and informed me the account would close automatically once a deadline was reached but refused to update my mailing address because only my employer can do that. Then, when their website failed to do a rollover *** to one of their affiliates, I had to call them and ask for a check to be written to the order of the new account, but instead they sold everything off and sent me an early withdrawal check.So they charged me monthly while providing no service, charged me an additional amount to withdraw, AND in addition to that they ended up costing me an absurd amount of money because they processed an early withdrawal against my wishes!OVER THE COURSE OF 4 MONTHS BECAUSE I COULDNT EVEN GET IT MAILED TO ME PROPERLY WITHOUT HOUNDING THEM CONSTANTLY.TERRIBLE. AWFUL. WORST PLATFORM. BOTTOM BARREL CORPORATE COSTCUTTING PROVIDER. 1 Star out of 1 Million Stars, if I got another employer who uses this service then not only would I not sign up, I would not work for that company by mere association to Empower.

      Terrible company. They make it almost impossible to get your money out. Their phone reps are trained to say you cant do a rollover to anything but an Empower **** Then you need to wait a long time for a supervisor.

      THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY EVER!!! I have well over 23,000$ tried to get a loan said my balance was **** like really??? Where did almost 20,000$ of my money go??? Ask them they said talk.to your employer smh I wish they would all die of cancer
