In June of 2022 I purchased 2 sets of dishes from Annies gift store in Vail Colorado .One set was a 40 piece set and one was a 46 piece set. The total I was given for both sets was 2264.00 which included their 10 % discount. I initially paid 545.00 of that total. As of today 1 year and 2 months later, I have only received 27 pieces of the two sets combined.
The employee that I have been dealing with the past 14 months is Linda. She has not initiated
conversations to keep me up to date with what was going on with my order. The majority on the time I would have to call her to get an update. The customer service has been terrible. There were several times I would speak with her on a Thursday or Friday and her would assure she would call me on Monday with an update. However she never did. A few times she would see on caller ID that I called and call me back. The store does not have a way to leave and message and they don't have a email address. At least not one I ever found.
There were at least 3 occasions that I was told by Linda that boxes of dishes had been mailed.
However I never received them. Each time I spoke with her she blamed everything on UPS, the weather, and covid.
Finally in January 2023 she said that 5 boxes(with part of my order) had been shipped. Once again she told me that UPS had messed up and returned 2 of the boxes to the store. I did receive the 3 boxes however everything in one box was broken. I did eventually get the other 2 boxes. At that time I was charged $1576.45. Since then I have not received the remaining of my order.
This brings me up to the current, Aug. 9th, 2023. I spoke with Linda 5 weeks ago on a Friday. She said she would call me on Monday. She never called. I have tried to call the store 8 times and no one answers nor does anyone call me back based on caller ID.
I don't know what else to do or how to get the rest of may order. I hope the BBB can help me.
    Thank you

On Jan 29, 2023 I order a set of dishes from Annie’s. I have subsequently been charged to my credit card: 1/29/23 1281.60, 2/7/23 1284.30, 2/9/23 133.47, 2/11/23 1546.92 and 2/13 2730.63. The entire invoice for my order is $4731.00. On or around 2/20/23, I spoke with the store manager, Linda, about the 2730.63 charge and this was an overcharge. Linda agreed and said she would credit back to my credit card the 2730.63 charge. She also stated that she had to verify with the bank the credit card credit for the overcharge. I was in the store again on 2/21/23 to tell her there was no credit to my credit card. Over the next 2 months, when I spoke with her, I was assured that the bank again said they would post the credit to my credit card. This happened four times and I have never received the credit to my card. Five weeks ago, I spoke with Linda and told her I have never received the credit and she said she would mail me a check for the 2730.63 over charge. That check never came to me. When I told her about this on 5/12, she said she would overnight me a check. That check never arrived via UPS. When I told her about this on 5/16, she checked with UPS and it was due the next day. The check never arrived. When I called her on this, she said UPS lost the envelope. On 5/19/23, I asked her to Fed Ex me the payment and she called me on 5/20/23 to tell me the check would go out on Mon, 5/22/23. As of 4pm on 5/22/23, Fed Ex has no record of the tracking number I gave them, provided to me by Linda. I believe something is amiss. Every remedy to correct the overcharge has not worked. Four reassurances that the bank would credit my credit card, one lost regular mail envelope and one lost UPS envelope is beyond coincidental. I believe this is a stall tactic. Also I have not received the dishes I ordered on Jan 29, 2023. I would appreciate any assistance you can give to me in regard to this sale. Thank you, Joy Yoder-Filley

    TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
After I filed my complaint on Monday, the long awaited refund for the overcharge on my order arrived via Fed Ex on Tues.  I found it odd that the check was from an unidentified 3rd party; not from the store, not from the owner, and not from the store manager. The check cleared on Wednesday.  Also the store manager of Annie’s in Vail, said she is shipping a partial order of dishes to me. I await getting the tracking number from her for this UPS shipment. There is a balance on my entire order and I will be paying that when I get all my dishes.
    Sincerely, Joy Yoder-Filley
