      I signed my son up for the pre licensing 5 hour class online back in May. He completed the class and a certificate was not issued. I requested a certificate exactly how it is explained in the welcome email. We never received one. For months I have tried to call several different phone numbers on the website and nobody ever answers the phone. I emailed as well and never received any response. The page I printed out showing he completed it was not the original certificate so the driving test instructor had to turn my son away. My son had to cancel his road test appointment twice because of this issue. I then had to pay for him to take the 5 hour class once again with another school. He received the certificate 2 days later from this new school and is scheduled to take his test again. Since I have still never received any certificate, phone call or email back from Epic, I would like a full refund as they did not complete the service I paid them for.

      I am rejecting this response because I never received an original certificate nor the 2 certificated requested after that. This has been going on since May. I no longer have use for their certificate as my son had to retake the class with another school so he could take his road test. I would like a refund. I paid for a certificate I never received

      Good afternoon,

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding Epic Driving School, located at **** **** **** *********** **. I am concerned that the practices I encountered may constitute fraud.

      During my training, I practiced with one vehicle but was given a different car on the day of my driving test. This change led to my failure due to unfamiliarity with the new vehicle’s handbrake placement. I am used to the handbrake being to my right, but in the test vehicle, it was by my feet—a detail not communicated by my instructor.

      During the test, I didn’t move the car more than 50 feet before the Department of Licensing Tester (DLT) instructed me to pull over because the handbrake was still engaged. Despite my request for guidance on how to operate it, the DLT declined to assist, choosing instead to take the car back to the school, where I was informed of my failure.

      It is essential that the same vehicle used for lessons be used for the test to ensure consistency. I was given a different car without any prior notice or preparation.

      My mother later spoke with Rachael at the school, and we were offered only a 10% discount on the course fee for a retest. Given that the issues were due to the school’s practices, I believe a discount of at least 50% is appropriate.

      I have been requesting a meeting with the manager since July but have yet to speak with her. When I visited the school and asked for the manager, I was directed to Rachael, who implied I should already know how to operate the vehicle, undermining the school’s educational purpose. My four siblings also attended, purchased packages, and took their tests here without issue.

      I recommend reviewing online reviews for this school, as others have reported similar issues with vehicle changes and lack of prior notice. As a college student, I worked hard to save for this course and hoped to surprise my mother.

      I called to inquire canceling my driving lesson. I spoke to the man by the name of Tiago he told me he would call me back to see if it’s possible . I called at 9 am when they opened and my appointment was at 11:45 . Tiago hasn’t called me so I called the driving school back at 10:45 to check the status of what been promised to me . Another women answered the phone and told me she don’t know what’s going on and Tiago isn’t here . I explained to her how I was waiting on a call back and now it’s getting closer to my appointment . I told her I can come at a later time or to place me on a different t day whatever they have open . Due to me waiting on my call back it held time from me preparing for my appointment . She was upset and started to express how she can’t give me a a different day and if I cancel I’ll have to pay $40 extra on top of the $275 I just paid on Monday to take my lessons and book their car. She told me the instructor still has to get paid and it’s not her fault . I explained to her that it wasn’t my fault I was waiting on her co worker to inform me . I told her I would like a refund and will take my bussiness elsewhere . My driving test is scheduled on the 12th of March and I booked the car and lessons on the 4th . I am a young single mother on a low income and really need my refund . The women hung the phone on me . I called back on my phone and on my boyfriend phone and no answer . I called this morning on the 7th and was told my another employee they have no understanding what happened. She said if they said they will refund me they just wait she told me Tiago claims he called me back and left a voicemail . Which my call log shows no call was sent my way from him . This company is wrong for lying to me robbing me for my money and being very unprofessional . PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE PLEASEEEEEEEEEE help me get my money back . It’s not fair and wrong for them to do such act . I trusted this company and hoped they would hold up to their standards . And they failed me completely .

      The instructor did arrive late for this test, but it was not due to issues to the vehicle. The student did not pass the test due to the inability to start a push-start vehicle. The inspector gave the student a chance to start the car and the student did not press the start button while holding the brake pedal.

      I was scheduled to take a road test with the *** in ************* ** at 9:00AM on Sat., 3/2/2024. I showed-up at 8:40AM to meet an instructor from Epic Driving School (**** ********) for 8:45AM. I purchased a Student Pre-paid Package, which included the use of their electric vehicle for transportation to take the road test at the ************ ***. The Epic Driving School Instructor (EDSI) did not show-up at 8:45. A *** Road Test Examiner (DRTE) who was present, and was not my assigned DRTE, informed me, if the Epic Driving School instructor did not show-up by 9AM, they will get an extension until 9:15AM; otherwise, the road test will need to be cancelled and re-scheduled. The Epic Driving School instructor showed-up at 9:12AM. The EDSI told the *** Security Guard, "there was something wrong with the car, I had to go back and forth and get something fixed, and I rushed down here".
      I did not have an opportunity to properly take my ** *** road test, which I'd relied on Epic Driving School to provide a reliable and ready to drive vehicle. I failed the test due to the car shutting-off in the middle of me reversing it out of the parking space. *** Agent Wilson included in this Road Test Evaluation Report, "Failed to start vehicle on road test let car roll in *** lot". The car did not roll in *** lot because it shut down and I placed it on park in the middle of the parking space. Epic Driving School did not provide a workable car, which I paid for. Epic Driving School was paid in full for A Learner's Package, which included the fees to provide transportation of a working vehicle to use at the ** *** for a road test. I would like to be reimbursed for that part of the payment - the road test paid amount is $150.00. Please assist.

      I was unable to type my account of today's sequence of events and improper service from both Epic Driving school instructor and the *** Road Test Examiner.
