      We filed a claim. Lived in this house for over 16 years this is the first claim We filed. What a disaster. They didn't give Us much We had to take out a loan for the plumbing and Our basement and bathroom still aren't done. They hardly gave Us any money for that but They turn around and up Our Home Owners insurance. Honestly they have been no help at all.

      I tried to get a car insurance quote they won’t give me one because another person that lives in the house has a suspended license they have nothing to do with my car, they do not drive it it is my car not there’s and nobody drives it but me I think it is wrong that they will not let me get a quote because of someone else that has nothing to do with that person

      Very unprofessional, they stopped my short term disability payments without notifying me that they were doing so. They said that they were investigating my claim because they received information that I may be working for a company called ******* ** ********** I live in *** ****** so how the hell could I be working for that company and why would I suddenly start working for a new company while I’m on disability that makes absolute no sense whatsoever. They have told me for over 3 weeks that this will be solved and payments would resume which still has not happened. I’ve called and spoken to at least 5 different agents telling me how sorry they are but there’s nothing they can do to help me. This company is the worst I’ve ever had to deal with in my entire life.

      hartford insurance group with **** sent me a pre approved auto insurance quote for $100 month, upon contacting hartford they could not honor their claim or price

      This company has neglected to send me my first disability check after being with them for 8 years after calling repeatedly to verify the account that they were putting into they continued to tell me that they could not give me the information and they sent it to an account that has been closed for several years I have contacted them repeatedly to get this resolved and it is still not resolved they have gotten their money from me consistently for 8 years. If they had verified what I was asking them before surgery this would not be happening. I have asked for a supervisor to call me back which has not happend a d if you ask to speak with supervisor they are never available .I feel like this company is taking money from people with out being able to do what they are supposed to do in return. There is no reason it should be this hard to use a service that I have been paying for for 8 years.

      Very unprofessional. Closed out my claim with false statements that they did not receive paperwork from my doctor regarding my seizures and the fact that they dropped me down to 3 days a week. When confronted with evidence they changed the story to they received the paperwork work but the doctor didn't provide a date when the problem would be resolved. That was because he did not know an exact date when he would be able to able to find the right medication and dosage to resolve the problem so he just stated ongoing.
      I explained that by this time the doctor had to completely take me off the job for at least 6 months and possibly longer because the seizures have gotten so bad. I have had to be hospitalized at times. The Hartford stated they would reopen the claim if I submitted updated paperwork which I did weeks ago. They have admitted to receiving the paperwork but keeping saying it is being processed and they are on the process of reviewing it to reopen the claim. They have changed the final date that it is supposed to be completed by several times and keep putting it off. I have no income at this time and I purchased both short term and long term insurance through their insurance company thinking I would be covered in case something unexpected like this ever came up with my health but they keep giving me the run around. The doctor told me he has several patients who have had similar experiences with this company. I don't recommend anyone trust their security or their future financial situation should anything like this happen in the hands of a crooked fraudulent company like this one who makes a living preying on those less fortunate. It is a scam of a company from my experience. Do not trust them or purchase their so called disability insurance.

      We have reviewed Quotes from a half dozen carriers and Hartford is the most expensive in the group. We are senior citizens with exceptional driving histories and **** Hartford rates are higher then all others. We got our **** monthly magazine and Hartford says an average savings is $577 or greater above four other carriers in the advertisement. We did not get that kind of savings in any quote by them.

      I have been on STD leave for almost 2 months without pay which was already approved by my doctor and acknowledged by my job but the Hartford is making it a nightmare to actually receive my pay. I am late on my mortgage payment now and my son’s birthday is in 2 weeks and I literally have pennies to my name. Burn this business down they are worthless and unprofessional

      Tammy Kaufman your company does not care about mental health and discriminates against them.Your job there in your office is to deny people benefits.
      How do you sleep at night?
      Its a crime how I was treated.
      I almost killed myself and was in my home for weeks without bathing and without eating.
      I was not able work ANYWHERE.
      Your company discriminates .

      I just undergone cancer treatments and multiple surgeries over the course of the last 15 months. STD through The Hartford has been an unprofessional nightmare and added stress I am intentional about avoiding. To see the same complaints should speak volumes.
