    In 3/23, a contract was completed between myself/my daughter with Club Getaway for a wedding scheduled for Sept 13-15, 2024. A payment of $15,000 was made, plus fees of app $1500-$2,000. On December 1, 2023, Club Getaway was notified that the event would need to be canceled. A request was made for full or partial repayment of our money paid since we were providing 9.5 months notice of the cancellation, This was denied by Club Getaway on 12/06/23 via email. I have written many emails requesting to use the property on the scheduled dates, in the amount of the money paid to Club Getaway. They have not responded to emails. Furthermore, the facility has booked another event on the dates I had paid for. They are receiving double the payment from myself and from the new event scheduled for the same dates and will not respond to my emails.

    The client  had reserved our facility for a wedding in September 2024. Unfortunately, the event was canceled in December 2023. As per our contract, all deposits are non-refundable. However, we made efforts to accommodate the client by offering a refund if the weekend could be rebooked at the same value. Despite our team's best efforts, we were unable to rebook the weekend, which remained vacant.
    Throughout this process, we have made every effort to reach a fair and reasonable resolution for the client. Most recently, we offered the client a $15,000 credit for future use at our facility, which has been accepted. We are pleased that the issue has now been resolved, and we look forward to welcoming them in the future.
