In November 2022, BBB contacted Best Cleaners regarding claims in its advertising.
On its website the business offers a "100% satisfaction guarantee" and "Your satisfaction is our gold standard. The guarantee? Forever." According to the BBB Code of Advertising, when using the term guarantee, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details can be seen prior to sale. These details must disclose any material limitations on the guarantee. Advertisers should only use satisfaction guarantee if the advertiser refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request. Any material limitations or conditions that apply to the satisfaction guarantee must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. BBB suggested that if its policy does not include refunding the full price at its customer's request that the business consider modifying these claims but did not receive a response.
