    Left Field Media is running the **** **** ***** ***, where my sister had purchased a really as a vendor. About 5 days ago, she came down with Covid like symptoms and 2 home tests confirmed that it was Covid. We reached out to Kate and Stacey to inquire what we should do and received conflicting directions. In one email, we were told to follow the CDC guidelines, which indicated that we were okay to still attend the convention based on her improving symptoms. In another message, it was stated that we could not attend and that no refund would be given due to their policies of no refunds of transfers.

    We requested clarification and it was determined that, though they could not keep us from attending based on the CDC guidelines, it was recommended that we should not come. We then inquired if at least a partial refund could be provided as we also were not inclined to risk further exposure but this was declined. The **** **** ***** *** is a large event that attracts thousands of attendees. It is very disappointing to see that Left Field Media takes such a calloused approach to public safety.

    After some deliberation, my sister and I have decided to not attend out of concern over potentially still being contagious but are devastated by the financial loss this is to her small owned business.
