After receiving multiple Scam Tracker reports and complaints, Better Business Bureau Serving Connecticut (BBB) opened an investigation into the business practices of BuisHub Company on August 23, 2019. Specifically, BBB researched claims of the business offering employment requiring re-shipment of packages, a process, in BBB’s experience, is generally linked to illegitimate activities and identity theft. BuisHub Company job postings were found by consumers on popular career websites. Some consumers indicate applying to reshipping jobs that appeared to be from a separate business, however BuisHub was the business that responded to their application for employment. As with legitimate employment applications, BuisHub’s application solicited personal information from the applicant. Consumers that performed re-shipping job duties for BuisHub have informed BBB that promised compensation has never been provided. While BuisHub Company claims to be located at 175 Capital Blvd Rocky Hill CT 06067, BBB has verified with property management that they are not operating out of that location. As of September 26, 2019 their site and similarly mirrored sites are still active.
