i used this vendor to install our glass shower door when we did a bathroom remodel. This was during covid. Probably in 2020 0r 2021. i noticed that the molding was difficult to clean as it was attached with silicone and called to let them know but they never told me it should not be attached so it can be removed to clean. I was trying to clean it while attached which was a joke.
then about 4+ months ago i noticed the door was not closing properly and the dam for the water which is a piece of molding was dirty and i couldn't clean it. I called the store at least three times and over the course of 2 or so months i got the person at the desk to admit that tony needed to come out and look at it. He didnt reply for at least 2 months and emailed me after repeated calls. He finally came over and fixed the door. While he worked I noticed he was using a large screwdriver to adjust the door but gave him space as its a small room. after he was done he left quickly and didn't even stay to look at a table that i wanted him to quote a piece of glass for. A few hours later i went into the room and noticed a sizeable scratch and it was fresh. It was on the outside of the door. I emailed him the next morning to let him know that there was a fresh scratch on the door that i noticed after he left and wanted to know how we could fix it. He flat out denied it and then accused me of blaming him and told me i needed to find someone else to blame. I then said, all blaming aside, please tell me how we can fix this, knowing FULL WELL that i DID NOT scratch the door and could not have done this with a rubber squeege which is only used on the inside. the scratch is on the outside. i have not heard back. he has ignored my request to provide a solution or to come fix it which i am sure he is capable of. I'd like to resolve this and would like this scratch fixed. If better, i can get a quote from another vendor and southing glass can pay for it. thats another option
