      Moved to ********* ** 1 year ago. Am paying for 500mps speed but over a 7 day period I'll be lucky to average 20mbs to 40mbs download. As I'm writing this it is only 3.2mps. Call Spectrum and they tell you to reboot the router. Have been rebooting the router 2-3 times per week since I moved here. My neighbors all have the same problem and get the same response from Spectrum. Spectrum is the only provider in ********* Ma and therefore has no incentive to do better. If %g comes to ********* you bet I'm switching even if it cost more at least it works

      I called to cancel as ******** had a better price and faster speeds. The first operator said I had to answer questions. I refused and asked to speak to a supervisor. She lied and said no one is ranked over her.
      I hung up and called back. From the time the person in charge of my disconnect answered it took 18 minutes to go through the questions in order to disconnect, She was polite and transferred me to a supervisor after this was over. I mentioned how the first person lied and that no one should be forced to answer questions and no matter what the price I'd never go back to Spectrum again.
      My cell phone was with them so I canceled it too.

      This company is completely fraudulent.
      I canceled my account and 3 months later they tried to bill me for equipment they never gave to me and said I didn't return. I went to their website to remove my bank account and was unable to do so. I was on the phone with their tech support and they even tried to and told me they couldn't. I then went to my bank to put a block on any charges coming from Charter Spectrum. This was actually suggested by the Tech support person I was talking to on the phone so I repeated back for clarification to make sure I understood them correctly.
      "So what you are telling me is that you have no way to remove a bank account from a software system you own and that I have to go to my bank to put a block on my bank account to stop you from charging me?" She responded "Yes".
      If I have no ability to cancel my account with a company that continues to charge me this is fraud. This company needs to be investigated and the fact that no one can bring a class action lawsuit against them because of their contracts is bogus.
      DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS AND NO BETTER THAN ** **** FROM THE 80s!

      Spectrum is a rip off. I have used them for over 20 years. Lately they have raised their prices and lowered their service. I have been having terrible service. It has been out for 15 plus days in a month. After that it has been down for hours at a time off and on for months. Do they credit us no, That would all of been annoying but now that I moved out and canceled my service I only had internet for 3 days and they charged me for a full month. On top of that the people at my old address are also paying for the service. So Spectrum is charging two different house holds for the the same service. I am not sure how they can get away with it.

      Canceled service with this provider and then blocked them. They threatened to send me to collections after I was finished with their internet service.
      The service is horrible.
      Customer Service is horrible.
      They only try to resolve anything when you leave, otherwise they don't care.
      I will go out of my way and spend more money elsewhere to never use this provider again.

      Spectrum employee decided to change my password without my permission. She locked me out of my internet because she didn't like me complaining about slow service. It's a crime to do that. Now there is no telling what she will do with my info.

      If I could leave Zero stars I would. I have nothing but issues after issues with company. 1st I asked back in Nov to take my wife's phone off of our plan. And it was not don't taking off the plan like it was supposed to and they continue to charge me for it for 2 months afterwards. Once I realized this I called back to get them to refund my money and the billing department declined it. I brush that off. Now they card my card after my wife called and told them not to and are refusing to to refund my money. I will NEVER go back for them again.

      Have been paying for gigabit service from Spectrum for couple years. Never missed a payment, but when I had lack of service due to packet loss from at the road tap for nearly a month. Had been giving me speeds of less than 1 megabit from my test and Spectrum's own test, three techs and two maintenance tickets I was told from Spectrum rep dealing in credits that I would receive a credit of 16$ on a 100$ internet plan. It is sad that they tell you "Have a great day, thank you for being a Spectrum customer. I will not be recommending people to switch, and I will make sure that if the internet sneezes I will be calling now. And make sure to tell others to do the same. Just sad.

      Absolute garbage. They need to stop sending mail two times a week to my address, in addition to, calling my cell phone a couple times a week. This is pure spam from a company this size.
