      I would give zero stars if I could. I recently called Spectrum to cancel my internet and the customer service representative told me he would set the service to turn off at the end of the month and all I needed to do was return my equipment the day I wanted to stop service. Not only did they not cancel my internet (they had me on a seasonal hold), but they also neglected to inform me that my billing cycle went until the 22nd and they are not able to prorate, so I had to pay for almost a whole month of service in a house I was no longer living in. If I had known, I would have canceled the service a month earlier. When I called to complain and correctly turn off my service, the person hung up on me when I asked to speak with the manager. Terrible company.

      Spectrum keep raising prices and service is going down it seem every week we lose cable and they won’t credit you unless it 4 hours. Some time it 3 hours but won’t give you a credit for that length of time. In which you can’t see tv or use internet in which people paid for. H company seen very unfair to their customers

      Spectrum is worst.
      For two weeks straight they had outrages that averaged 2 hours or more. When I chatted with an agent, was told it was due to the heat. lol Luckily, I had **** Fiber at the same time and they had no problem with the heat. . Now, I called Monday to disconnect service and requested a Tuesday disconnect. It was still on Thursday. I called back and was told, 'Oh, I see the problem. We will disconnect later today.' It's Friday now and it's still on. lol These people are a joke. Hopefully when their support opens, third time's the charm. Stay far away if you have options.

      I canceled my Spectrum account at the end of July, the lady that assisted me informed me that the account will be canceled and that once I pay my last bill I will not owe anything. Paid the bill. Received an email today 11 Aug that my spectrum statement is ready for view. I contacted them immediately, was informed that they don't have prorated months and because my service wasn't cancelled until 2 Aug I would have to pay that final bill. I tried informing the CSR about what had happened previously and why I was moving away (military PCS) she was very nonchalant and simply stuck to the "script" I think this is very poor customer service. I wasn't asking for any special treatment I did was I was suppose to do. I wish the lady who helped me initially would've given me all the information up front, now because they didn't im being penalized for it. It was already bad enough that they wouldn't allow u to cancel via the app that you have to call in to speak with a representative

      Began service in February and it’s is now august and have only two weeks each month of services yet they get full payment and don’t/ won’t reimburse me for ten weeks I received no service at all even though I have replaced everything they’ve asked from modem to wires also days of wait time for inside technicians (several of them at different times) and outside technicians ( several on different times all of which had came out and said they didn’t understand the issues I was having where I literally had NO SERVICE FOR DAYS AT A TIME as I said two weeks on two weeks off and off for days or 8 to 12 hrs repeatedly every day each month and when I call customer service they act like “ oh I can give you ten dollars of credit! Mind you my bill is $87 although it was only suppose to have been $50 a month then I just called and they had the nerve to say I can give you $29 credit if you pay $54 to us bc they see you didn’t have service for two days!! I said NO! And I know you can see all my outages bc you’re own technicians have pulled it up showing exactly all the days and hours I have complained about including the temporary wire that they installed that was supposed to be a temporary fix for one home they put extensions on it with splitters taking a hundred ft wire to a 5000 ft wire extension to 8 other homes which is why I was having repeated loss of service but it wasn’t showing on the office so they will not refund me! And trying to say they can’t do anything and that I don’t understand so I said yes your right I don’t understand when you are clearly committing theft by deception!! So they hung up on me… Spectrum is committing criminal acts and I’m looking to sue them so anyone interested in joining me can .com bc I’m looking into lawyers and trying to file a huge lawsuit against them and I feel like the more all of us stand together the better chance we have of holding them accountable for they’re false advertising, theft by deception

      I was moving and called to start new service and cancel service. Well the guy that did all of that info on the phone messed up and canceled my service early I had to Call to fix it all. When I called they didn't set up to cancel my service again and I had no idea because I told them exactly when I needed it canceled. How am I supposed to know what they do on their end? Well a few weeks after being in my new place I noticed they charged me for my old house and my new house! They REFUSED to refund me even thought it was their mistake. I talked to so many mangers who were so unhelpful. It was over $200 they refused to give back to me and took me hours and hours to try to argue with them. Absolutely ridiculous and rude. To this day I am still out that money I fought with them for over 4 months before giving up because I was very pregnant and tired of them being so nasty on the phone

      Beware if you cancel service! I canceled my service for 1 days into the billing cycle and will force you to pay the full cycle! What a scam!

      I recently contacted spectrum regarding modifying my service . I was signed up for spectrum mobile after advising I didn’t want the service . I was deceptively told that I would receive a tablet as part of a promotion which I advised I don’t need nor want . I spent 30 minutes being transferred around in order to cancel my service which will not be finalized until I refuse the ***** passage. I am now looking for a new provider as I can trust a company that operates in such a deceitful manner .

      I have no words adequate to tell of the horrific, incompetent, deceptive, predatory, TWILIGHT ZONE behavior of Spectrum associates - particularly in the sales dept. I have been trying to get service for two weeks from Spectrum. Every time I have called to resolve my problem, they hook me up with someone who tries to upsell me and refuses to listen to me. I've told them repeatedly, I do not want anything but wifi -- PERIOD. Problem 1: They sent my equipment to an address I haven't lived at in years -- not the address I gave them. Problem 2: Then when they finally got the address right, they sent me a bunch of equipment I didn't need and did not order, not even verbally on the phone. Problem 3: I had to take it all back and stand in line for an hour to wait to drop it off and cancel the order, only to have to start a new order all over again. Then the guy at the counter told me he took the old address off my account, but guess what? Problem 4: The next time I got on the phone when my wifi would not connect, they recited the old address to me AGAIN. And after scheduling me for a service call, I was switched to another line to ONCE AGAIN tell them to cancel out the old address, but Problem 4: The person I connected to said she was deleting the old address but starts trying to upsell me AGAIN! I told her I did not want her offers or anything extra. But she insisted I would want to hear about their deals and KEPT TALKING to sell me packages. She literally would not shut up and called ME rude for talking over her and telling her I did not want her offer. I have spent literally 5 to 6 hours on the phone at this point with at least 6 to 8 different people. I am to the point where I feel violated, preyed upon, baited, lied to, given the run-around. I have been traumatized by these people. Words can't express how I feel. And there is no other service available in my area! This is a SHADY company! I LONG to disassociate from them! One star is too much for them!

      I have my TV and computer with Spectrum so around July 20th I also transferred my cell phone. When I got my new phone I went to the Spectrum office in ********* *** to transfer the service. When I got home after transferring service the phone, which was purchased from Spectrum, did not work. The next day I went back to the ******** office and four different reps said they could not help me because they were sales reps only. I then went to the ********; KY. Spectrum office and the door was locked during business hours. I knocked on the door and a man let me in. He said he could not help because he was sales only. Out of frustration I decided to cancel my phone service after just spending over $100 on a new phone. I called Spectrum and advised them I wanted to cancel my phone service. When I initially signed up, I had to give them a credit card for auto billing which I objected to but had no choice. Over the next few days, I had to call four different times because my account was not cancelled despite their assurances that it was. Then August 7th my credit card was billed again, and I was told there was a problem in the billing department. This is by far the worst customer service company I have ever dealt with.
