Tracking number **************************. I ordered contact lenses from a company based in ***** on 5/17/2024 and it was picked up on 5/22/2024 by 4PX in *****. It was received by Pitney Bowes on 5/26/2024 in ****** ********* **. It arrived at Pitney Bowes facility in ******** ** on 5/27/2024. Per Pitney Bowes tracking, my package was tendered to **** in ********* ** on 5/29/2024 and then at my local (small town) Post Office in ******** ** on 6/1/2024 at 6:47 pm. The problem here is that my local Postmaster researched for me and found that the package did not make it to the ********* ** facility and could not have been delivered to my local Post Office because the facility is closed at that time on Saturday (6/1/2024). There is absolutely no way to reach anyone from Pitney Bowes and the telephone number provided for them on the BBB page, ###-###-####, is not in service. This is just one of many problems I’ve had with this company and as such, I have to seek remedy here.

Early April my grandparents and I switched to **** as our cell phone carrier. Upon receiving new phones, I received the incorrect phone. **** was helpful as far as processing the exchange and sent me a return shipping label through ****/Pitney Bowes for the incorrect phone. On April 16th, I dropped off the package containing the incorrect phone to my local post office in ********** **.

2 months later my elderly grandfather had a $1000 charge posted on his account for the unreturned phone. Thankfully, I still had the tracking number to proof of delivery. I tracked the item and it said it was given to **********/Pitney Bowes on April 17th. I attempted to contact them but their automated answering service has ran me in circles not allowing me to talk to an actual representative to clarify why my package has still been undelivered for nearly 2 months according to tracking through **********/Pitney Bowes.

It seems this is a common problem with this carrier service and I refuse to let their mistake con an elderly loved one out of $1000+.

I ordered a product from ** ********** on May 8, 2024. It was shipped through Pitney Bowes on May 10, 2024. Tracking# **********************************. It is now May 22, 2024, and the package has been in the Pitney Bowes ****** ********* ** facility since May 15, 2024. I have contacted Pitney Bowes customer service, who refused to talk to me or give me any information. The representative also claimed to not have a manager when I asked to speak to one. They kept telling me to contact ** **********. But it is stuck in the Pitney Bowes facility, so ** ********** has no information. ** ********** was only able to tell me that it can take Pitney Bowes up to 21 days to move a package, which is absurd. All I want is my package to me mailed to me.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

While I agree with the response that the tracking of the package has been recently updated, this is not satisfactory. As noted in the attached screenshot showing the tracking detail of the package, there has been no update since it has departed the facility on 6/3/24. Where is the package now on 6/5/24? Pitney Bowes has been in possession of the package for 24 days, and based on the response has no idea when I will be receiving my package. I will not be satisfied until I receive my package that has been paid for.

      Sincerely,

      ******** ******

On April 26 2024 I made an online order from ******** ******. My order shipped on April 29, 2024. My estimated delivery date was May9, 2024. Everything was going smoothly until my package arrived at Pitney Bowes in ******* *******. The system says the package left but I don’t believe that is true. Someone within the facility or company gotta be stealing because upon researching I found out everybody has this same issue with Pitney Bowes. My package has not move and there is no tracking information updated. The tracking number is ******************************. I would really like to know where is my package. Pitney Bowes should not be carrying citizens mail if someone is being untrustworthy to the company.

Back in March of this year, I seen an ad placed by Pitney Bowes stating that upon trying the SendPro Mailstation for 60 days (a trial period), after such period, small businesses would be charged the sum of $29.99 every month thereafter. However, I have received a bill for the month of June in the amount of $94.11. This is false advertising on behalf of Pitney Bowes. I relied on such advertising [in making my decision] to rent/lease such equipment.

The ad is accurate, the SendPro Mailstation is being
billed $29.99 a month, however Pitney Bowes is invoicing the client quarterly.

I do see an open case for Pitney Bowes to change
the billing cycle from quarterly to monthly.

You all never sent me any notification stating that I needed to respond to such (on the 17th of May).  Typically, there's an email notifying me of such.  Never received it from the BBB.

The BBB never sent me a notification informing me to respond back (ironically, the same day I sent in the complaint).  The issue still isn't resolved, so why would I ignore such???  Please do better than what you have done!!!

We canceled our service over 6 weeks ago, before our lease renewal. The ticket was never worked and PB still charged us for the next three months of service, even though we cancelled before renewal. On April 9, we were charged the $688.36.

We have opened 5 tickets with them and all tickets get closed with no reply from anyone and today, still no refund. They had no issue charging us to leave their service and demand immediate payment.

We demand they refund the three month lease fee immediately.

BBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles.

When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.

BBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period, except for customer reviews. Customer reviews posted prior to July 5, 2024, will no longer be published when they reach three years from their submission date. Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. If you choose to do business with this company, please let them know that you checked their record with BBB.

As a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. Businesses are under no obligation to seek BBB accreditation, and some businesses are not accredited because they have not sought BBB accreditation. BBB charges a fee for BBB Accreditation. This fee supports BBB's efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust.
