    Kirby vacuum sales people come to my home very late in the evening when I have small children and all but refuse to leave until I buy the product. They play on your vulnerability it’s late and my one year old needs sleep. They come to the house under false pretenses to say they are fixing my old vacuum and only looked at it for a second before going on to blame me for anything that is wrong with it and saying the warranty wouldn’t cover it. They present new product they clame will clean the air of virus and bacteria. When you directly ask the price they refused to tell but present you very confusing payment options that force you to do math to figure out the end price of the product. They also refuse to tell you the return policy when you ask.
    I purchased the product to get them to leave then I try to return it. They say they will honor the return if I fill the form out and mail it to them. I fill out the form and send it priority mail. They never acknowledge receiving the form. I call to inquire about the return and now they don’t answer my call. I put 1,000 down on the product that cost over 5,000 and I don’t want the product and can’t get in touch with them.

    During the initial sale in the house, the customer asked the sales representative what the cancellation period was. She was told three days and was also told that if she did not want the product she does not have to purchase it. When the customer contacted R & M regarding the cancellation, it was via a text message from the customer to the manager's cell phone. R & M responded back to her immediately that they will set up a convenient date and time to pickup the merchandise. The customer was just trying to be very difficult and was not telling the truth in her complaint to the BBB. The manager called the customer to pick up the merchandise on Thursday, June 6, whereby the customer said she did not have the time and would not be available until Tuesday, June 11. The merchandise was picked up from the customer's home on Tuesday, June 11, and at the same time her vacuum cleaner which she traded in at the time of merchandise purchase was also returned to her that day as well. Her full down payment of $1,000.00 was returned to her on Wednesday, June 12. Respectfully yours, M. H****
