After noticing
several irregularities in an accreditation application submitted by Flawless
Commercial Roofing, on 10/05/2020 BBB opened an investigation into their
business practices and the practices of related companies. After numerous
requests for information were ignored, BBB closed the investigation. At this
time, BBB Serving Connecticut does not believe it has sufficient information to
generate a rating.

 BBB advises that when hiring contractors,
consumers should:

  • Look for
    transparency in all advertising and work with a contractor who is responsive to
    your needs
  • Check licensing
  • Ask for references and
    verify them
  • Get all agreements in
    writing and include resolution options should either party fail to perform
  • Request a Certificate of
    Insurance and check with the Insurance Provider to ensure that the policy is
    current
