This is the most terrible experience I’ve ever had. Such a scam, they promise you savings but keep charging you and when you requested to cancel the service with multiple emails and calls they won’t. extra $100-$200 on top of the bill deceiving customers trying to compare it like getting a gift card at the store WHAT A CRAP. My advice from FORMER SALES AGENT don’t ever sign up.Arcadia Power, Inc.

If you were enrolled in Community Solar, there is a cancellation time period necessary for the solar developer and utility company to fully process your un-enrollment. This timeline accounts for your account’s specific billing cycle, as well as the amount of time it actually takes for the utility to cease applying solar savings to your account. These reps are super annoying, constantly coming to door even after you tell them you aren’t interested. I am just glad I have a screen door in front of my house door, so I didn’t have one trying to come into my home and I could just say “not interested” for the tenth time through the screen door.
I will never, ever show some third party company my utility bills. That is a headache waiting to happen.Arcadia Power, Inc.

This company took money from my account AFTER I paid my bill, which left my account in a negative balance. When I reached out to let them know they had taken the money on a bill that I had already paid, they refused to reimburse me.Arcadia Power, Inc.

I work for a community center serving refugees. We received complaints from our members that your staff (Devan Flood via Arcadia) entered people's homes and made them sign contracts without consent. This is highly illegal. If you're speaking with immigrants and refugees, you should provide transparent information.Arcadia Power, Inc.

Their door to door recruiter Devan F**** would not take "no" for an answer and even entered our house without our consent. He was very demanding of our Utility bill and would not let me get a word in at all. Even if this program did help save money, their approach at getting people to enroll is not the best. He never asked if I was interested and just immediately requested to see my electricity bill and snatched it out my hand and started enrolling me without asking me if it was ok. The in-person door to door sales man that came to my house interacted with my child who told him we weren’t home. He held her phone, forced her to find a utility statement, created an account for her (obviously she does not handle our electric bill), made her get her debit card, and enrolled our family in this stupid solar farm we don’t want. Super gross high pressure sales, my daughter was stuck on the porch in the cold trying to get out of the situation but she didn’t understand he wasn’t from our utility supplier (DelMarVa). She was in tears when I came home. I am so angry that my child was basically scammed out of her name, number, credit card and more by unethical sales.Arcadia Power, Inc.

I signed up, but was just put on a waiting list for a solar farm. Because I receive energy assistance through the Power On program, I was overbilled, and the overbilled amount was sent to my energy company, so I consistently have a growing credit on my utility company account. I called and explained the problem twice, and e-mailed about it twice, but no one at customer service would work with me to straighten it out.Arcadia Power, Inc.

Hi Linda, thank you for reaching out with your feedback. We are sorry to hear of your experience. For context, it looks like you were enrolled in Auto-Pay with Arcadia which means that we charged for only the amount due that was communicated by your utility.
While you were on the waitlist for Community Solar, from there it may take a few months to see savings. Once your project is completed and you are connected, you would start to see savings a few billing cycles later.

Way below 1 star but the option isn't available! First they show up unannounced expecting me to stop my life while they fuck off, then they put dime size holes throughout my roof and laugh it off, my existing panel box they tapped into can't be used due to serious arking of electricity so I have no power at all, caught one on camera peaking through my windows when I wasn't home and didn't know they sent him! All they accomplished was making my roof leak, no power to my home, and a nice pigeon condo on my roof!!!Arcadia Power, Inc.

I love the idea of alternative energy, I love that we had a cool representative help us get setup, and I love that we could save money.....
But I dislike the payment option. We missed our payment. Because we're poor. Money is tight. But then we got the money to pay it. But couldn't because for whatever reason, there isn't an option to "Pay It Now". Had to email them, by the time they tried to take money out again, other bills went through, once again it was declined. Having no control to "pay NOW" is highly annoying.
Now we got removed from arcadia. Understandable. But now I have to refigure out our xcel payments since Arcardia had us do a bunch of stuff to get out having to pay Xcel. At this point, really regretting getting talked into doing this.Arcadia Power, Inc.

Our Auto-Pay program operates such that your payment is scheduled for three days after your statement issue date. This is to ensure that your utility payment is made prior to the payment due date. If a payment attempt is unsuccessful, it is automatically retried three days after the original attempt. We do also have an option to delay a payment prior to the original scheduled payment date on your online Arcadia dashboard.
