You all have me in tears and highly disappointed and angry this morning. Only have you all never saved me a dime, you unlinked my account with Dominion energy after so many years with you and caused a 5 month billing backup with ZERO notice this past APRIL! I’ve been under auto pay for years! Since when you all just started, I was one of the first customers . And now I’m just finding out this morning by Dom that you all stop sending payment this April and did not contact me or give them any reason to why after 8 or so years. This has caused an uproar and financial strain in my family and I will never deal with you all again! I just signed back up this past weekend before learning this. This company is awful!

Hi Stephanie, we’re sorry to hear of your experience and the stress that it has caused. For clarity, our email team sent messages regarding updates needed on your Dominion and Arcadia online accounts due to utility updates starting in April of 2023. These utility updates prevented Arcadia from continuing to receive your monthly bills for Auto-Pay management until such updates were made to your utility and Arcadia profiles. Reminder emails were sent on a weekly basis for a month following these changes. We informed you that on 5/1/2023, your Auto-Pay enrollment would need to be closed if no update was made. This was due to our continued inability to manage your Auto-Pay enrollment.
It looks like you may have marked an Arcadia email as spam in February of 2023. This prevented the successful delivery of Arcadia emails to your inbox after that point, including the reminder emails. We are sorry to here of the financial strain that this has caused as it was our intent to keep you informed of any updates needed to maintain your Auto-Pay enrollment.
In your state, savings are not yet available to customers. However, your enrollment was free. To discuss account specific information, you are welcome to reach out over email at ******************* or to give us a call at ************ from 9am to 7pm EST, Monday through Friday. All the best.

Employs shady practices to try to get you to switch. A rep just came by and tried to identify himself as BGE despite having an Arcadia badge. He then tried to claim that BGE lost a class action lawsuit and wanted to sign me up for energy credits as a result. Never once did he say he was trying to sign me up for Arcadia's Community Solar Program. I waited to get the email and there was nothing about any lawsuit or energy credits. It just contained a link to switch to Arcadia as my energy provider.

Hi Theron, we are sorry to hear of your experience. Arcadia currently has active representatives on the ground in states around the U.S. where homeowners are eligible for Community Solar. Each state has its own program and each customer that signs up with Arcadia in these eligible areas has the opportunity to receive savings on their monthly utility bill. There are no sign-up or cancellation fees. The process to receive savings on their monthly utility bill is as simple as signing up with Arcadia. Once their solar project starts producing power, the customer starts receiving savings.
Arcadia does everything it can to be clear and transparent with our customers and prospective customers. Representatives expected to clearly identify themselves as representatives from Arcadia, not from BGE or any electric utility providers. We are sorry to hear about your experience with one of our representatives and we appreciate your feedback as we’re always looking for more ways to improve our customer communications, as well as sign up experience.
We have escalated this sales feedback to the appropriate party. You are welcome to reach out over email at ******************* or to give us a call at ************ from 9am to 7pm EST, Monday through Friday with any further feedback. All the best.

Had a male salesman at my door this evening telling me that Arcadia could reduce the electric portion of my PSE&G monthly bill. He showed my a sample bill that showed the kind of credit I could get against my PSE&G electric portion of my bill. That included an amount for delivery charge and usage charge. Sounded interesting until I asked him how it works. He said that Arcadia would pay my full PSE&G electric portion of my bill and I would pay Arcadia the difference of what they paid PSE&G less the credits for the solar energy that I was assigned from the solar farm. My antenna went up as why should I pay Arcadia anything as they are supposed to be giving me a credit towards paying my PSE&G bill. I told him I pay PSE&G by electronic payments each month that I authorize after reading my bill and that is the way I pay for my energy. I asked him if I could pay Arcadia that way and he said they want to have my credit card on file. Now why did he not say that in the beginning and we could have saved 20 minutes of our valuable time. I do not trust companies that I do not know with my credit card information. The salesman was naturally upset with me but managed to keep his cool. I would not trust Arcadia based solely upon the poor demeanor and training of the sales force alone.

I signed up a number of years ago as a way to offset our electrical cost. My cost didn't go up...until they enrolled me in a solar program that I declined. Now I'm fighting them trying to understand why the money they charged me isn't being refunded. Not impressed with their customer service or ability to empathize with customers. Don't bother with them.

Apparently reading is not required to be hired by this company. My neighborhood is under neighborhood watch and a majority of my neighbors including myself have "NO SOLICITING" signs and some also have "NO TRESPASSING" signs on their property. 2 of their employees walked up knocking multiple times on our doors. 3 times on mine alone while I was trying to work. Some of my other neighbors have videos showing them opening the storm door and continuously knocking. Train your staff better or a lawsuit is coming.

If I could give zero stars I would. I literally checked them out and got a spot then they proceeded to bill me on top of my national grid bill. I made my payment to national grid as they advised me to only pay them. I did not provide my card info to Arcadia and they still obtained it and processed an automatic payment that I did not set up, without my authorization.

      Arcadia Power, Inc.

      Date: 09/08/2023

Hi Kayleigh, we’re sorry to hear of your experience and would be glad to make it right. It looks like you have been in contact with our team to address these concerns.

Your Arcadia Auto-Pay enrollment was completed for the management of your National Grid payments along with the indication of your desired payment method, which is the reason why an Arcadia payment occurred. Your payment in question has been sent in full to your utility to post prior to its due date with National Grid. Any additional payment to National Grid would result in a credit balance on your utility profile.

Your account is now closed to prevent any future charges through Arcadia Auto-Pay. To discuss account-specific information further, you are welcome to reach out over email at [email protected]. All the best.

Salesman came to my door sell this service and claiming that I’d save 10% on my electricity bill. I thought it was a “too good to be true” deal so I told him I need to research it. He got a little agitated at that time because he probably thought that since I was listening to his pitch that he was about to make a sale. I sent him packing and then read the reviews. My instinct was right. BTW, he rang the door bell twice and we have a “No Soliciting” sign by our door.

Do not sign up for community solar with Arcadia because your bill is for a share of the energy produced by the solar farm, NOT your own energy consumption! You receive a credit on your utility bill but it keeps accumulating. Stop participating in community solar and Arcadia will charge you excessive amounts in the 6 months it takes to cancel. My last bill from them was over $800. Move out of your utility’s service area and you will NEVER recover the money spent. I am out over $3,000.

      Arcadia Power, Inc.

      Date: 09/08/2023

Hi Miriam, we’re sorry to hear of your experience and would be glad to make it right.

When enrolling customers in Community Solar through Arcadia, we take care to make sure that the Community Solar savings credit applied to their utility bill is appropriate based on their annualized kWh usage. In the case of a move, we close the corresponding Arcadia account following the management of charges associated with a final billing statement from their utility.

All customers enrolled in Community Solar get to keep a certain portion of the savings generated by their portion of the solar projects. The remaining portion goes back to the developer to maintain their project and is thus billed through Arcadia. This means that your Arcadia charges associated with your Community Solar enrollment are lower than the Community Solar savings credit value received on your utility bills in the first place.

Any remaining credit balance accumulated on your utility account is yours to keep, even after a move. If your utility has been unable to return that credit balance to you, you are welcome to reach out over email at [email protected] or to give us a call at 866-526-0083 from 9am to 7pm EST, Monday through Friday so we can assist with getting that value returned to you. All the best.

Arcadia promissed "up to 10 percent" discount from our XCEL power billing, but never delivered any documentation (From April to August 2023).
When I called them I got kind of a run around, but the rep agreed to have her TEAM send me a note how to log in and get the balance sheets. Then she said my "Community Solar Project" was not yet active... and when it goes active i will receive 5% discount.
I DID receive an email instruction how to log on, but the password had been changed from my original entry. Something smells fishy!
Next step I guess will be to go back to XCEL and remove the link Arcadia established.
Oh yes, the original sales person had an internet website presentation where he promissed a $50 gift card for those who signed up the same day. I signed up, but the gift card didnt materialize. I called Arcadia back then (MAY 2023) and Brock appeared at our door with the gift card. Still... Arcadia does not win any prizes for their presentation or performance!

      Arcadia Power, Inc.

      Date: 08/31/2023

Hi Greg, we’re sorry to hear of your experience and would be glad to clarify.
If you were to enroll in our Community Solar program, you would pay for your utility bill as issued by your utility minus your portion of Community Solar savings, which we attach to your bill. Your portion of Community Solar savings is based on your geographic area and utility.
Your password would only be changed in the case that you requested a password reset to access your Arcadia profile. It does look like your Arcadia account has already been canceled. Our team is always here to address our customers’ concerns, and we hope you'll reconsider your enrollment in our clean energy community.
To discuss account-specific information any further, you are welcome to reach out over email at ******************* or to give us a call at ************ from 9am to 7pm EST, Monday through Friday. All the best.
