    I booked clown n around entertainment for my son for his second birthday in April the management came out and I realized that they did not fulfill my package I reach out to management asking them what happened to my son's birthday present that was included into the package also they did not complete my package and did not do everything that I played for only thing I was concerned about was the birthday present that my son was supposed to get I then received a phone call from the higher up and they informed me that they were going to ship my son's birthday present and again this was back in April I have been emailing them I have multiple emails where they even said that they're going to send it to me and now they've just been completely ignoring me so I'm very upset with them I'm not too happy I do not recommend anybody ever booking with them again because they do not fulfill their package and I basically wet $500 on a package that was not fulfilled for my son's birthday

    Started with online reservation for my party I paid $75. 10/5/2022. The day before the party I contacted them and ask if everything is good and they replied and confirmed and ask for the remaining $225 which I paid right away that was on 12/09/2022. The day of the party one of his staff came late and doing balloon twisting which I did not purchase, I purchased the deluxe character show which supposed to include 3 staff and only one of them showed up, hence I stopped him and just canceled it, the people in my party are leaving anyway cause they were late. The owner ******* apologized and agreed to give me the full refund. But now he is not responding to me and I never received any refund to this date. They never answer my calls and emails. I just would like to get my money back.

    It's painful to write this complaint because the event and the service involves my 4 year old son and his little friends. We hired Clown N Around for a birthday party, paid on time for the entertainer, and experienced a disappointing performance by the company. I have attached an extract of my wife's email in which she lists the services that were not rendered by Clown N Around. The complete list of emails between the Chief Entertainment Officer and my wife has been attached to this complaint. "From the listing of what we paid for ($375), we did not get the following: copy of children's book (we saw no book) puppet show included only 2 puppets that could barely be heard and the kids wandered away by that point kid friendly music (played on a cell phone and barely audible) Happy birthday cake cutting (we did this ourselves and your entertainers did not participate, in fact when I asked them when they planned on doing this, I was told, "you set it up." So I did and we did it). complimentary event coordinator (no idea what or who this was) My wife shared her concerns with the company and the Chief Entertainment Officer responded that "we could definitely get 40% refunded" that was on 10/24/2022. Communications stopped after that and my wife followed up and so did I. On October 31, my wife received the email below in which the Chief Entertainment Officer threatened my wife and her business after she mentioned the Better Business Bureau. "In regards to the threat of the Better Business Bureau contacting, I prefer for us to close this situation out without any issues Natalie! As I'm sure you know, you wouldn't want anyone to call the BBB on your organization as well.. So, let's close this smoothly!" Chief Entertainment Officer Ever since then no communication has been returned by Clownaround. I am hoping to solve this issue with the help of the BBB to avoid legal steps against Clown N Around. Thank you for your help.*******************

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The business sent a refund check for almost all of the money agreed upon. However, there is still a refund amount of $10 outstanding and the business has not responded and is apparently not willing to send the $10 that is missing.
