      Washington Gas told me they would be at my apartment to turn on the gas between 7am and 5pm and then never showed up or followed up on their own. After calling several times, I got a response that they will show up before 9pm. I waited in my new apartment and they never showed up. I called again the next day and was promised the same thing yet again. And once again they never showed up and didn’t even have the courtesy to let me know. I have never seen such poor service in my life, especially for soemthing that is an essential service.

      This company did not enroll me correctly as a new customer, and has not corrected my bill after several conversations with mgmt. They have threatened to disconnect my services, and are still asking me to pay a high bill that is not correct. All I want is for them to give me an accurate bill, stop sending me wrong invoices.

      Hello, I went to pay 100.00 on my bill in November, 2022. The desk clerk ask me if I still live at 2629 stanton Rd. SE. #302 WDC. 20020, I said yes for 22yrs. The clerk informed me that the bill was no longer in my name, so I enquiry about how did this happen, I was told that someone
      at that office of Washington View Apt., WCS Company, called and change it, long story so Washington Gas was supposed to correct the issue but they never did so I went back to complain and then they said it will be straight by March 15, 2023. I said can't afford a high bill so they didn't correct it in November now they sent me a bill for over three hundred dollars that I can't afford on disability and they are responsible for not correcting it in November 2022.

      I am disabled veteran that just received a letter about my account not having a customer name. The next step is to cut the utility service.
      When I log in online, all my personal information is there, to include my name.
      They don't answer the phone. They have the incorrect customer service address, so I wasted a personal trip to address this issue.
      I am concerned about gas being cut because of an admin error on their side.
      Terrible experience worth congressional inquiries.

      They charged me to initiate a new gas line in the same apartment building and did not create a new account for me. They also charged me a late fee for not paying the bill for the account that they never created. In addition, after paying the unjustified late fee, they added an additional late fee. The rate they are using to calculate the late fee is also not explained in any way. As soon as I have more time I will make it a point to look more deeply into this.

      I wouldn't wish Washington Gas on my worst enemy. Because they are the only game in town, they simply do not care about customer service. Their wait times are abysmal, their system is out of date and their "customer service specialists" would rather place you on hold than actually attempt to help you.

      When is there going to be a resolution to the service received from Washington Gas? They have the worst service I have ever encountered to get your gas cut on. I spoke to a representative (Eden) who put me on hold forever, but her title is customer advocate. The appointments are all day appointments as if people do not have jobs and if you have someone else to sit in for you the driver wait time is 3 minutes. This makes no sense. Do not even ask to speak to a supervisor because that is not happening. This company needs intervention.

      It is literally impossible to get in touch with anyone. Their website doesn't work, nobody answers the phone, it directs you to a voicemail box, but then says sorry it is full and hangs up.
