    Over 8 k for Therma tru French Doors. Had issues from the start with sales woman. Wrong door ordered. Wrong door delivered. Finally correct door, very messy installation. Trash all over the yard nails left behind. Therma tru door radiates cold into the family room. Heat is set at 73deg, door measures 65deg, worst french doors ever. NO HELP from Window World, just excuses. Therma Tru says that's normal performance. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY Window World, OR THERMA TRU BRAND DOOR!!

    In May 2024, we had a new entryway installed by Window World. We were expecting a deadbolt locking system to come with our door that we could use but what we got was a new defective locking mechanism that never stays lock. This locking system does not work at all. You can knock on the door and it will easily unlock the door. I have contacted Window World several times complaining about this defective locking system. But after a couple of visits from them, there's no resolution. Their manager tell me that the issue is with the door manufacturer and I need to contact them. I bought the whole entryway from Window World not the manufacturer. After hearing that I haven't heard anything from Window World for 2 months now. So my assumption is that we are on our on with this defective door lock. This was a job that wasn't "Done right everytime" as their company owner advertised.

    Major disappointment. Ordered windows on February 29, 2024. It’s now August 11, 2024, and still haven’t received my order. I’m told that the manufacturer is the cause for the delay. As a customer I have no control over the manufacturer, nor should that be my concern. It is the responsibility of the franchise to provide some type of service that is reasonable. I was originally told it could take up to 14-16 weeks before installation. It’s now going on 20 plus weeks. The lack of taking ownership by Window World is completely unacceptable and they haven’t even offered any type of compensation for the inconvenience. WOW, huge case of buyers remorse!

    I would not recommend this company. Make sure you listen, take notes, ask questions and get the warranty in hand before you move forward. This will allow you to make an informed decision as we did when the spoken words don't match what is in writing. We chose not to move forward and disappointed in who we dealt with outside of the office manager. She was genuine and helpful. We went elsewhere with a company we can trust.

    Signed contract on 23 Sept. 2022 for 2 doors. Still have not received storm door. On 8 Mar. 2023, wrong door delivered due to salesman putting wrong product code on contract. On 20 Mar. 2023, another door delivered. WRONG door AGAIN. Second door ordered by someone in their "ordering department." There was a 12 to 16 week or more for delivery of doors. Due to their errors we are now in the "or more" part of the delivery. This is so unacceptable and we still are waiting for the correct door. No apologies or discount offered because of the aggravation this company has caused us. One day I tried to open the door that they left on (first wrong door) and it would not open. I went outside with a key and it wouldn't open it. Called the office and they contacted a "construction manager"; he called and said he had to find someone. Around 4 p.m. two people showed up, one of whom was the General Manager's son. He told me his father would not give a discount but did say the door they left costs more than what we ordered. So we are due an adjustment on the pricing. I feel that almost 7 months is ridiculous for a storm door and all they do is blame the company who makes the doors (******) for the delay. Sorry, ****** never sent the WRONG doors, Window World is the culprit in the delay. And we, the customers, suffer for their ineptness. There are other window and door companies out there, so please beware of this company whose customer service is just about non-existent. I do not want to see anyone else go through this aggravation. By the way, this is how they treat seniors and a disabled veteran. The BBB rating is A+ because reviews and complaints are not taken into account. So please be careful when choosing a company.

    3 weeks ago we spent $2400 to have a 2 window casement window installed by Window World of Delmarva. The evening after installation we discovered neither of the 2 windows would close. It was immediately clear the installers did not try the windows for proper operation before they left. The next day I called Window World and since then I have been lied to about follow-up phone calls, been promised things that have not happened, and received nothing close to getting a remedy to fix the problem. To make matters worse, each person I have spoken to has no clue what the previous person has done or said with respect to the situation. Unfortunately, since we signed the purchase contract for this window we have spoken with 2 others in our area who had equally awful experiences with Window World of Delmarva and if they had known we were considering them they would have told us to avoid Window World of Delmarva at all costs. I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy.
